Introduction
Hello, users, moderators, knights, ect.
Today I am making a moderator application! You may Like or dislike this post! The choice is yours. I hope you consider me for the rank of moderator. It would mean a lot to me.
Name and age
My name is Alice. My in game name is SirAlice. I was born on November 2, 1999.
What is your experience in moderating?
Well I have been, moderator on some xats and aurenjs. I have also been knight for quite some time now. As a moderator if someone is bullying I would kick them. If I saw them cussing I would ban them. If they made another account and cussed repeatedly I would ban them again, and If they repeated that I would Ip-ban them. Currently if I say them doing any of those things I would arrest them. I was a rookie for a short period, and then emerged to a trusted member.
What are your qualities that a moderator would have?
First of all I am very helpful. If someone asks them how to be a member I tell them, 50 posts, and 30 rep. Also, if anyone needs help around oldcp I show them. Second of all, I am responsible, if someone tells me to break a rule, I would not. Also, if I lied, I would be responsible and take the blame. Third of all I am mature, I would not laugh at stuff like butts, poop, pee and stuff like that.
Lastly, I am respectful. I would not be mean to anyone, around me. Treat others like you would want to be treated yourself. In my opinion that is the golden rule. Even if someone was disrespectful to me, I would not be disrespectful back. That's just messed up.
What does being a moderator mean to you?
Being a moderator means to protect their community from harm. It means to be responsible, mature, respectful, and many more reasons. Moderators are meant to protect. Not to be rude and mean.
Will you abuse your powers?
No, never in my life. I do not plan to, and I will never abuse my powers. If I do I will accept the punishments. I will live up to this rule, until the moment I leave the DSGHQ. That is a promise.
I have heard of many moderators getting demoted because of abuse. And I will not be one of them, if I get moderator. If I get mod I will only use my powers when necessary.
What are your skills?
One of my skills is helping. I am pretty good at helping. I helped Team wizards in the mod comp, and I hope to again. That is just one of my skills. Another one of my skills is listening. I always listen during mod comps, and pretty much everything else. There are many more skills where that came from, but I cant put them all into this application.
Do you have good spelling and grammar?
Yes I believe I do. I use multiple spelling programs online, including spellingcity. On grammar I am always willing to hear some advice on it, and I try to tweak if daily. I will take any kind of advice when it comes to spelling and grammar. Don't be scared to tell me some advice on my spelling and grammar!
Will you be nice to other staff members?
Yes I will. I am respectful to them now, and I plan to be respectful to them then. They help oldcp and they deserve respect. I will also be nice to normal users because they also deserve respect!
Respect is key in my opinion. Even if fellow staff are mean to me, I wont be mean back, that would be messed up like I said.
Will you slack off and not answer questions?
No of course not! I would like to help users, not ignore them. Their questions deserve to be answered. I would not slack off because I need to moderate not goof off. As a moderator should be, I am active so there is no point on slacking off! If I slack off I will make up for that time, that's a promise. I will admit to my mistakes, that's a promise.
