A Minecraft Story



Chapter 1 - Steve

My name is Steve. One night, I was running as fast as I could. Running. Running. Running to my cabin. It was midnight. The Zombies were chasing me, along with the Skeletons, Creepers, and Spiders. When I opened the door to my house, an Enderman was standing inside! I was surrounded by monsters. I wished the Enderman would just teleport away, but it didn't. It just stared at me. "Don't look into an Enderman's eyes," I whispered to myself. I closed my eyes and fought the Enderman. Finally, he teleported away, seeming scared of me. I ran into my house and slammed the door shut. I opened my chest and grabbed my sword. I opened the door and fought the monsters. Finally, I won the battle...but the Enderman was staring into my eyes when I turned around, wanting to go into my house. The Enderman opened his mouth and tried to kill me! I slain him with my bow and arrow. Finally, he disappeared, leaving an ender pearl. I collected it and went to sleep.



Chapter 2 - Herobrine

When I woke up, I saw a strange cave that had never been there before. I opened the door. I stepped outside and walked slowly toward the cave. I went in. There were redstone torches on the walls. I walked until I saw stairs. I slowly, quietly walked down the stairs. When I got to the bottom, there was a bridge with lava under it. I carefully walked across the bridge, trying not to fall in the lava. When I got to the other side of the bridge, I saw a throne made of gold and netherrack. And I could see a face. It looked just like my face. Except no pupils in his white, glowing eyes. I realized who it was...Herobrine! I hurried across the bridge, up the stairs, across the hall, and sprinted out of the cave. I covered up the cave with cobblestone. "I should be safe now," I said to myself.



Chapter 3 - The Nether

I walked to my house, panting. But my house was nowhere to be seen...all I saw was a Nether portal, right where my house should be. My house is gone! I saw a book. I grabbed it and read it. It said "We take your precious things. We burn in lava!". Seems like a Zombie Pigman wrote that. I just remembered -- Herobrine lives in the Nether. Maybe I could go in there and get revenge on Herobrine for scaring me...and killing my father. Stevie. I stepped into the Nether. Once I was inside the Nether, I found myself in a cage made of iron bars. "How is there a cage in here?" I thought. I have to get to the top of the Nether, that is where Herobrine lives. Fudge, I forgot, bedrock covers the top of the Nether.



Chapter 4 - Notch

I saw a man in the distance. He looked like...Notch! The founder of Minecraft! "Notch!" I yelled. "Help me, I'm trapped in here!" I continued. "I'm coming for ya, Steve!" He replied. He came over to the cage. He destroyed it with his owner powers. "I'm awesome," he said. "Sir Notch, I am trying to get to the top of the Nether for revenge on Herobrine. He killed my father, Stevie," I told him. "Herobrine..." he said. "I hate that man with no pupils. He is my evil brother," he continued. "Herobrine used to be good...let me tell you the story. Herobrine's name used to be Brine, until he turned evil. Ol' Brine and I had some good times. But once, he got killed by the monsters. I buried him in the old graveyard. One night, when I was asleep, lightning struck Brine's grave. His pupils disappeared. He came out of his grave, and turned evil. He renamed himself Herobrine. That is the story of my brother," said Notch.



Chapter 5 - To The Top!

Notch led Steve to the Nether castle, on their way to the top of the Nether. "Oh no," Notch said. "A spawner!" We battled off Blazes, Ghasts, Zombie Pigmen, and Wither Skeletons. Once we completed the battle, we saw the Wither. "If we didn't spawn the Wither..." I said. "Then Herobrine must've spawned him!" I continued. We battled the Wither, dodging it's attacks. Finally, we won. Notch tripped and fell into an End portal. "What is that End portal doing there!?" I asked, confused. Meanwhile...Notch was battling the Ender Dragon. "You have no chance against me, big dragon! I created this game, I can destroy you whenever I want!" In one powerful punch, the Ender Dragon exploded. Notch was somehow teleported back to the Nether. "Whew, that was an easy battle," Notch said. "And watch this:" he made a hole that led to the top of the Nether. He grabbed me and flew to the top of the Nether. Herobrine shot Notch and he disappeared with his last words on the server: "Good luck, my dear friend, Steve."



Chapter 6 - Steve vs. Herobrine

"NOTCH! NOOO!" I yelled. "Just you and me," Herobrine said with an evil voice. He attacked at me. I found a diamond sword. I grabbed it and dodged the attack. "You won't stand a chance against me," Herobrine said. Herobrine turned around, creating something huge, his back to me. I attacked at Herobrine. "AHH! My foolish acts, why am I not looking at him!?" I then attacked at Herobrine once more. "Argh! Hit me one more time and I'll die...time to make this battle harder!" Herobrine flew into the air. "YOU KILLED MY FATHER!" I screamed. "I WANT REVENGE!!!" I got so mad that I made everything explode. Herobrine's face started to crack. "NOOOO!!!" he screeched. Herobrine exploded. I floated in the air. I then spawned in front of his house. "My house is back!" I said. "I couldn't have done this without Notch."
