You have to apply it, i also make that mistake. You have to ask several questions of why do you want to become a royal. Asking also can lower your chances.

You need to make it more of an application. Most people just rush through these applications. The most important thing you need to include in your application is What experience do you have? and Why do you want this job? Just think about that for awhile then make another application.
