In the first few days of the modern world, the god made all living organisms. They each had different characteristics to help them survive. In these first few days, all the animals had races to see which was quickest. The god and the snail weren't friends. The god had promised the snail a skin, but the snail received no skin. This made it the quickest in all the races.
The snail wasn't happy with all the wins. He needed a skin to survive. After all the races, he expected fighting. The turtles didn't have good sportsmanship. He had to find some sort of skin to protect himself!
He went out to the beach, miles away, to find a shell. He headed back to his habitat. When he returned, it was a war zone. The snail curled up in his shell and remained safe.
