Hello Everyone! Welcome to my moderator application! I gave up becoming a mod for OldCP a while ago. But I know, that I can and will achieve forum moderator. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but maybe soon. Lets start a little about me.
- I have been on the forums for almost 10 months (2 more months till the day I joined)
- I have been a moderator before, and you can see the badge by looking to the side.
- I have no warnings, I have never been banned.
- I succeed all the requirements for forum moderator
- I have over 1600 posts, and over 920 reputation (I'm racing with dancebear xD)
- I have 4 star ratings
- I am in Snail Spike Group
What I believe to do as a forum moderator.
- I will prevent bullying (#1 job)
- I will watch over the forums day and night
- I will prevent any rule breakers, and I will stop them when I see them.
- I will never abuse my powers
- I will not promote a discussion, make a master, or do anything i'm not supposed to do without permission.
- I will care for my users bellow me by:
Helping them
Advising them
Becoming friends with them
Protect them
- I will never go undercover for it caused trouble in the past.
- I will follow the rules myself because i'm a role model
- I will enforce the rules for others
- I have a strong reliable password, and I have never been hacked.
Skills
Since I have been a moderator before, I know how to use the system.
I have good grammar ( I hope you agree) And I believe I am very organized.
I understand the stress of a moderator, but Im ready for it all if it makes my users happy.
I am a reliable friend, so you can always count me in for helping you out.
If I were to find a user cussing, I would:
- Remove the content
- Ban them for a short period of time (as of if it were a kick) then un-ban them. (depending on how bad it it.)
- Demote them to the lower rank bellow them (if Master, member. If member Rookie. etc..)
- Apologize to the forums for seeing the bad content, and let them know I wont let it happen again.
- Then I will report it to Damen. He will carry out the problem depending on what the user said. Weather the person will be convicted treason, and sentenced to death, or just banned for a period o time.
Sum it up
When I first received moderator on the forums. I believe I was immature for the job. I made a very big mistake and was demoted for it. I regret it, but I can overcome it.
I feel that I'm ready for forum moderator again, and this time for sure.
I have now officially made all the moderator commitments, unlike in the past.
I promise to do what I said in this post.
I hope you all are ready for me to become the newest staff member in the team, because i'm gonna keep working for it!
