Furniture 10% off?

I was looking to find new furniture today, and I noticed that all furniture had 10% taken off it; for example, the rugs were 10 coins, the fridge was 20, the wardrobe was 20, the TVs were 30, etc.
Is this supposed to happen?

Yes, since new furniture is coming soon, Damen posted in a mood that the furniture we have now will be cheaper until the new items are released.
