We all know and love this guy the enderman. I think when they attack you they try to rip your head off because its a block shaped. And endermen carry blocks! so endermen would not be a hostile mob if your head was not square shaped! If this is true enderman would not be hostile around you if they try to trip your head off.

Good theory. But, the Enderman is not hostile. Most people don't know this but, it is actually neutral until provoked. Also, they feel as though you are bullying them when you look at their long limbs and tall bodies funny or hit them with your sword. Despite being related to that of Slenderman they are actually quite peaceful. They don't still blocks they are merely trying to build as you would. They just don't realize that it was yours. Other times they just want to troll you for fun.

Like skippy said enderman are very peaceful.
But they attack you when you look at them.
They only spawn at night and they're home is the end ( i know that endermen live in the end
because the're always there and its in there name)
but this is a good theory. +1

I know that what I am saying is that like they would never be hostile.
