Hello,
The DSGHQ Wiki is almost ready and upon us. The Wiki Editors, (those with the Wiki Editor Badge) have spent the past few days writing content and pages, and I am glad to say the Wiki will be ready sooner rather then later, but before it opens, we want to share some information with you.
Restrictions
The Wiki will be accessed via the forums (using your forum account), and most users will have the ability to edit it, however to make sure the Wiki is accurate and safe, we had to add a few restrictions.
-Regular Rookies cannot Edit or create articles until they have gained the rank of member by reaching 100 positive reputation points.
- Beyond that requirement, Members can edit any unprotected articles. Articles created by Moderators or Members can be edited by staff, even if the article is protected, the same applies for Wiki Editors.
- Only members with at least 500 reputation points can create character and regular articles. All articles are moderated by forum staff and edited to fit the grammatical requirements of the DSGHQ Wiki.
- Only Administrators can create game articles.
- Only Moderators and Editors can create history articles.
Creating a Good Character Page
For most of you, the first thing you will do when the Wiki is launched is create a character page for yourself. To make that process go more smoothly, and to create less work for the Editors, below you will find a miniature guide on structure your page should be.
- Go in chronological order, if you look at the example below, all the information and facts are from oldest to newest.
- Use correct grammar and spelling.
- Include all important information, and fact-check it to make sure it is accurate. If you are going to write about how Bp28 killed Raegon, make sure you have the correct story by researching it and checking other Wiki pages.
- Do not lie. Don't say you earned Moderator or were the Emperor unless you actually achieved those ranks, the Editors and Staff will just go back and change it. All it does it make you look bad.
Heres an example Character Page:
Start writing and planning your pages now, so they are ready when the Wiki launches.
Note: The DSGHQ Wikia that pops up on google run by Wikia.com is NOT the Wiki.

Yes, the wiki is great because it gives regular users a chance to contribute and tell their sides of stories. Use it responsibly and enjoy!
