Hey guys, here's a tip. When you are building a house use carpenters block mod to make your house look more colorful and and your roof amazing, also switch to creative mode while building then when you done you are able to switch back.
Another tip is when a creeper comes to your creation always just have a underground version of it much more safer from pesky creepers.
Also this is kind of a tactic I thought of, If you want to have some building underwater, use a mod that uses animal genes and make a squid gene to put into yourself so you can breath underwater for infinity amount of time, then find out which one has night vision and get the gene that has it.

I don't really play minecraft I just got these tips from Minecraft videos and piece them together myself.

I think the building part a bit "cheating". It is not fun when you just build using creative and you enjoy adventures.
