Welcome one, welcome all, to DSGHQ's very first role play. Here is the description.

We live in a seemingly normal world. We've come up with extraordinary powers and creatures, considering them entertainment and fairy tales. But what if all of that really did exist? It does. Concealed from the eyes of the normals, there exists a hidden part to this world, a missing puzzle piece. This is known as the Hidden World. Everything in books, stories, shows, they exist, in hiding from the normal world. People live in this world with powers beyond belief, monsters and beasts of mythology roam, weapons and magic relics wait to be claimed. There is a side to this world you never knew about until now. This post is the portal to it.


To join the Hidden World, make a post below with your own character. Limited number of characters allowed. First come, first serve. Character will be approved before admitted into game.

RULES (PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE CREATING CHARACTER)
-Make your character descriptive. Nothing bland or typical. Get creative and go into as much detail as possible. If possible, provide a picture. The more I know about your character, the better I'll be able to write about them.

-Powers, abilities, weapons, all mentioned must not be over powered. Everyone is vulnerable to death, remember that. If you're invincible, it's not as fun. Make your character balanced. Unbalanced characters will not be accepted.

-Don't plagiarize. If you're modeling a character after one from a tv show or anime, don't make them a complete copy. Borrow some elements from them, but not every small little detail and just change the name. Characters like this will not be accepted.

-More rules as they come in.

Character creation form: Use this form to create your character. Be sure to put in the titles of each segement. Don't write anything in parenthesis ( )

That is the outline. I will not accept anyone without this outline.

How roleplays work
If this is your first time roleplaying, read this.

A roleplay on a forum works by the GM (game master, Me) posting a cast call. Once enough characters enter, the game begins. The GM creates the beginning of the story, sets the scene, introduces characters ETC. From there, when a certain character is bolded at the bottom of the GM's post, it means it's their turn to write.

The creator of that character then writes through their character's eyes and interacts with other characters, explore their surroundings, chats with npc's (Non playable characters), or just pass their turn on. If you are selected but don't want to go, simply reply to the post with a simple "PASS". After the writer is done with their turn, they write the name of another character in BOLD at the very bottom. The creator of that character must reply with their interactions. Do everything you want and need to do during your turn, because it might take a while to get it again.

The GM can end the scene at any time, and create a new one, even before someone's turn. If a new scene is created before you get a turn, you get the first turn in the new scene.

If you wish to speak out of character at any time, simply reply to the most current post by putting "OOG" in bold before your message. OOG stands for "out of game".

Backstory: When Emily was 10 her parents started fighting a lot, 2 months later they got divorced. Emily's parents fought for custody of Emily, this made her very upset and aggravated. She always wondered why they had her if they were just going to get divorced. When Emily was 13 she thought about running away, so she packed her clothes, a notebook and a pencil, money, her phone and a water bottle. Emily left that night. When Emily finally left Orlando she traveled for 3 days she met a boy named, Jake. Jake wasn't an ordinary kid you would meet on the streets he was a master mage! Jake taught Emily how to Water Bend and Heal, she soon mastered these skills 1 year later. When Emily said she was going to California to meet up with her oldest cousin, Chris, Jake gave her a necklace and a Electric Sword. Jake was upset, but he knew how she felt. He too went though this. After Emily said bye to her best friend Jake, she ventured fourth to California she found something, something hidden. It was a portal to a "New World"! Emily was 16 and still, her curiosity took over and she went in. This led her to the world of "extinct" creatures and mystery! Emily never went to her cousin Chris, but she sees Jake daily and they make sure they keep in touch. Emily helps people if they need and would do anything for her friends.

One more thing, the Hidden World's description reminded me of "Percy Jackson" ("Percy Jackson" is a Book Series)

Appearence: Aiden is a rather tall, skinny boy with jet black hair, olive skin, and pitch black eyes. He commonly wears t-shirts or hoodies, along with thin jeans or shorts.

Personality: Aiden is rather quirky, funny, caring, and outgoing. He's willing to put it all on the line for others, even if it costs him his life. He is incredibly loyal and brave.

Sexuality: Straight

Powers: Lighting Magic (Mage)
Weapon: None
Ability: Able to use lightning magic and skilled in kung-fu fighting styles.

Backstory: Aiden lived in new york until the age of 3. He moved to california, all the way across the county, to become a lightning mage like his father, Kent. At the age of 10, Aiden began learning lightning magic. By the age of 15, he was an A-Rank lightning mage and joined the society of the lightning mages. Today, he fights as a bounty hunter in the BHA (bounty hunter association), helping the innocent hidden world members survive in a world ridden with creatures and powerful beings.

Relationship: Friend relationship with certain character he likes to be around. No love interest at the moment.
