I hereby declare a new feature of the DSGHQ

Redemption

Each half year (Summer and Winter) we will hold one Redemption on the DSGHQ.

What is Redemption?
Redemption is the only user's vote for demoting any staff and voting in replacement staff. Although this does NOT include Royalty or the Emperor Helper.

Summer Redemption
Spring of the DSGHQ is almost over. The first ever Redemption will be held on OldCP after Spring is over. Summer begins in just two days so the first Summer Redemption will be next week.

Redemption Summer 2015
Date: Friday 26th June 2015
Session 1 Time: 3 PM EST / 12 PM PST / 8 PM UK
Session 2 Time: 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST / 10 PM UK
Location: Throne room of OldCP

Votes
You can vote out existing staff. This can be moderator rank and administrator rank.

Forum Staff
This vote includes all DSGHQ games and the forum.

Can we vote FOR mods/admins?
Yes, you can vote for replacements only, not fresh new staff.

Replacements
If you are voted in as a replacement, you earn the rare REDEMPTION badge of the DSGHQ.

If you miss the event you cannot vote. You must be at the event.

Note that this is a trial event and will only happen twice per year.

How many votes is required for a demotion?

This truly is a rare event I mean twice every year. For anyone coming this surely will be thrilling. I'll for sure make it to this event and who knows maybe I'll vote for someone myself. Thanks for notifying us Damen.

It is a nice idea but I think this should only be required for promotions, I mean we could lose staff committed to their position. I think this program should be for the inactive mods that are bad to users.

Cool, great feature! It will be sad to see people demoted, but it will be great to see new mods ( replacements.)

Omg.. this is scary. I cannot make it to the 1st one but, I will for sure be at the 2nd one. I have a few questions. 1) How many votes are required for a demotion? 2) What will happen if the users joke around and abuse the redemption and get random mods demoted? 3) How many staff members will be demoted at the most? 4) Do you have to agree on it? I would appreciate if one of you answered my questions so I know exactly what is happening.

So you'll more or less go through each staff members name and see if they're voted in or out? If voted out then a replacement will be voted in, correct? Also I have a small question is the first 'session' being held to see who gets demoted and the second to state the replacements.

Nice! This will bring an opportunity for the community to make decisions for who should be staff. I'll try to attend next Friday!
