Well a while ago I was a detective and knight, but Damen announced knights could not be dets. And I'm pretty sure I heard Hashir say that knights could be dets but idk if this changed.

This is unfair and it needs to be told to Damen. But then again, Knights solely have one duty, and that's to protect. I do see the fact that you want to be a detective as well but lets not get to greedy here. You already have a rank that many strive to get. Now you're trying to snag another? People want to earn ranks on here too, you know. I understand moderators might get special treatment, but it's for a purpose. They are online 24/7 moderating OldCp and the forums. Knights however are (in my opinion) lower than moderators simply because of what they do in their job. Again, this is my opinion and I am entitled to it. I don't see too much of a problem of a knight being a det, but I just can't see both together. I think you'll have to make a decision.

Not only do moderators get detective, a few users I saw got them too.

Maybe because knights need to protect the dsghq right now because some knights are inactive or there are not enough knights? I am not sure, I am just guessing.

To be honest, I think you should have only one job. Mods shouldnt be able to be detective. Knights shouldnt be able to be detectives. I think we need to leave slots open for more people, because i remember when like 1/2 the mods were dets and people couldnt become one because there were "too many"

Knights and Dets have big differences. Knights are the defenders of the DSGHQ, Dets are just investigators, knights can still investigate and post theories but can't become one because knights has 1 important duty, which is defending DSGHQ, Detectives doesn't have powers to defend the DSGHQ, their power is too attack and risking their virtual life, but mostly they are just here to investigate. I think its better to have knight to have 1 job not 2, it would be complicated.

Our job is to protect OldCP and it's users from the stuff detectives find. If we were to become detectives it would be kinda hard to protect and solve cases at the same time.

Now some of you are saying that you think you should only get one job, well I disagree with that. Even though I think Knights shouldn't be detectives, I still think everyone should be able to hold more than one job. I mean, look at Hashir, he is a Moth Priest, Administrator, and Detective Inspector. He is completely fine. Having more than one job or rank is more of a help.

Knights do their job, Dets do their job.
There is no need for Knights to become Dets. They already have a job and they can't protect and solve at the same time.
People need to stop being greedy and just be happy they got a job.

That was rather rude. I just liked because I didn't feel like disliking. I am not in a bad mood . Anyway, Sam just wants to be a detective. And being a Knight is stealing her chance of being a detective, and she doesn't like that. Why did you have to be so rude about it? I respect Sam's opinion.

Well I was a Detective once but I switched to Knight. I still liked being one

I agree with other users, you should only one job. But, mods are responsible and I think can handle 2 jobs. I don't know... +1
