Hello Everyone~! Welcome back to Steven Universe Reviews the Show~~ Sorry for it being so late.. this episode will be the fourth episode of Steven Bomb 3.0, "Historical Friction."

~ Summary of Episode ~

It starts out with Jamie going to Steven's house to show him something amazing, and as Steven walks up to Jamie he shows Steven a flyer of a play. So Steven persuades him to let him act on his play, which Jamie happily agrees to.

It then cuts to Steven and Jamie on a stage. Steven asks where's the other actors only to be told that he and Jamie are the only actors. Jamie then gives Steven a copy of the script and Steven sees the play is about Mayor Dewey's family written by Mayor Dewey, and when Steven asks what the play is about, Mayor Dewey walks into the room.

Since Steven is the only one who showed up Jamie agrees to letting him being the main/lead and Jamie being all the other characters/voices. As Jamie skims through the play he sees that the story is dull and boring, with the main character being perfect, un-like good main characters who are flawed and in-perfect.

When Steven too realizes it was bad he goes back home, and sees Pearl on the couch. When Steven sits on the couch, Pearl asks Steven if there's anything she/he could help him with, to which Steven replies something including the name William Dewey which surprises Pearl because she wonders why Steven would know the name.

Steven tells Pearl about a play he is doing with him playing William Dewey and he hands Pearl the script. Pearl finds the script horrible and historically in-accurate. She then makes some adjustments to the script and Steven goes to Jamie.

After Jamie reads it he finds the newly-written script amazing, and is sad that he can't use it as the actual play. Steven then tells him that he can do it which encourages Jamie to do it even though he could risk his whole career- or hobby.

The play then starts, with William and his crew-member Buddy on the ship, and they get interrupted by an excited Pearl who acts like a mom and calls out Steven's name, "Hi Steven! *waves*."

Then Steven starts saying lines that refer to William Dewey being an idiot which catches Mayor Dewey's attention and makes him wonder what are they doing? Then the play continues and 'The Crystal Gems' appear to stop William Dewey and his ship. Jamie mocks the crystal gems.

"Greetings! I am Pearl! and I come to you as a messenger of the brilliant Rose Quartz! *throws flower petals* We ask that you turn your ship around. The land that you are headed for is no walk in the park for your species." - Jamie mocking Pearl.

"Non-Sense! I won't take orders from the likes of you!" - Steven/William Dewey.

"Well then..." - Jamie mocking Pearl.

"You should turn around, or else you will fall into the sea. and you know, humans aren't very good swimmers..." - Jamie mocking Garnet.

Then Steven starts embarrassing William Dewey even more, they then get caught into a storm and hear a noise to reveal a monster, or a kracken to be specific. The Kracken gets Buddy and Mayor Dewey loses Buddy. Then when William Dewey almost having his ship sunken, the monster gets distracted by a GIANT WOMAN.

The Giant Woman then brings the ship to land and saves them from the monster. It then shows William Dewey naming it after his best dead crew-mate but he is revealed to be alive so he re-names it, Beach-City! Everyone then applauds for the play and smiles at Mayor Dewey which shocks Mayor Dewey.

Lastly, back-stage after Jamie getting people to ask him for autographs Mayor Dewey comes. He thanks Jamie for the changes and makes him lead-director for Beach City Theater. After that Jamie thanks him and tells Mayor Dewey that most of the facts came from Pearl. When Pearl asks why there was an advertisement at the end, he says that all good stories must end on a joke.

and then the episode ends.

~ Big Things ~

How Beach City was Founded; it was cool that the CG had involvement in Beach City being founded.

The Crystal Temple Fusion; in one of the parts the giant woman seems to be the four of them (Rose, Pearl, Garnet and Amethyst) all fused together as Steven said something with a quad in it meaning 4.

~ Review of Episode ~

It was an okay episode, I expected it to be more of a gems episode, showing the past of the Gem War, probably Amethyst in Kindergarten, but this is okay too, takes a break from all the feels from the past 3 with the reveal of Sardonyx, the separation and reveal of Ruby and Sapphire and Vidalia coming back. The preview for next episode seems good though.

The Crystal Gems find an ancient Gem Warship and learn about it's owner while trying to work Peridot's Ship.

I keep saying that I'm going to start watching this show because some of you guys like it, but I keep forgetting...just like how I forgot about my goldfish.

This was a good/ok episode. Jamie (in my opinion) isn't a very interesting character and is basically a... Movie freak. Other then that, it's a very "cute" episode.
