This season marks a whole year of DSGHQ World Champion history!
But lately the Administrators have noticed that it’s unfair to judge the World Champion just by their skills in soccer or snowball tournaments. Therefore we are changing the way WCI competition works.
Instead of only having a set time and date to do a sportive on a DSGHQ game… the competition will last the whole season. At the end of the season there will still be a sportive event, but there is more that you can do to earn the WCI season rank before that event!
You know the stats page? Well, the place where it says 'Top Members' has been changed to have a page of it's own. Yes, you guessed it! It's a dynamic system database selection list! Oops! I'll try that again.
The top members bit now has a page of it's own. You'll see this page a lot because it's the OFFICIAL BEST PLAYERS OF THE WHOLE DSGHQ list. Whoever is at the top of the list at the end of each season will become the World Champion.
But how can I get to da top?
Good question. When you get to the page (link at bottom) you'll see a 'Score' column. This number is all of your player of the days, rep, xp and views added together.
SCORE KEY
A Player of the Day = 600 POINTS
An XP Point = 1 POINT
A Rep Point = 0.5 POINTS
A View = 0.1 POINT
So you better start posting to get a player of the day which will boost your standings!
You can also climb to the top of the list by earning XP on the forums! Also, by being a friendly penguin on OldCP, moderators and admins will give you XP! That's right! Mods and admins can now give XP out via forums. (Mods can't give Xp to themselves or other mods).
Moderator Powers?!?!
WCI Champion will from now on have MOD POWERS!
Can the same person win twice in a row?
Yes

Like in the Game of Mods, the current leader of the list will have the special golden name color on OldCP until they are either taken over or win the WCI that season.
Sportive!!!!
A sportive event will still be held on OldCP at the end of the season to give a final chance for you to get to that 1st place position. Maybe soccer or snowball game.

Tsk Tsk Tsk. Back in my day when I started this whole event, we had to kill a penguin on steroids to be WCI. Soccer and Snowball fights are for sissies. Take the end of the season top 4 and have a fight to the death. Its my 1 year anniversary as WCI and the WCI 1 year annivrtsary, I will be pleased if that happens to see who is worthy to be the summer champion (the most sacred WCI season)
