Heading to Broadway
Chapter 2
I could barely breath. I only have a month to live? I can feel myself dying already. Then and there, I knew I had to get to Broadway soon. But how? I could run away. I'll do that. If I asked my mom if I could go to Broadway, she would totally say no. Hmm, what should I pack? Well I do need food and water, obviously. I'll also bring some money so I can buy more food. I need to bring clothes too. I got my backpack out, and unzipped the big pocket. Then I slipped into the kitchen and got 2 bottles of water, and 3 apples and a sandwich. Will this be enough? I guess I'll have to see. After that, I got all the money from my piggy bank. 20 dollars. I doubt that will be enough. I slip into my parents room and take 20 more dollars from the money jar. I know it's wrong, but I need to survive.
Then, I go back to my room and get 3 pairs of pants, 3 shirts, 3 socks, and my teddy bear.
I think this is enough. Wait, I forgot something. My medicine. I'll die without it for sure. Alright, not I'm ready. Luckily my parents are still at work, so they never saw me do this. Alright I'm ready. I slipped my hat on over my bald head, put my sneakers on, grabbed my backpack, and walked out the door.
Then, I go back to my room and get 3 pairs of pants, 3 shirts, 3 socks, and my teddy bear.
I think this is enough. Wait, I forgot something. My medicine. I'll die without it for sure. Alright, not I'm ready. Luckily my parents are still at work, so they never saw me do this. Alright I'm ready. I slipped my hat on over my bald head, put my sneakers on, grabbed my backpack, and walked out the door.
