Allie's Review [Episode 3, Season 1] 13 Going On 30
WARNING: SPOILERS!
Rating: PG13
Genre: Drama, Humor, Feel Good Movie
Okay, I admit it, I had no idea what to right about. The only movie that I have seen recently and haven't talked about is rated R and not safe for children at all...so, naturally, I go to Netflix. First thing I see? If I Stay. I haven't heard anybody mention that name since 2014, but oh well, I remember somebody saying it was good, so it must be worth watching. I didn't even make it five minutes without Googling the trailer and declaring it 'too slow too sappy'. Right next to If I Stay, was a movie I've been noticing for a while, 13 Going On 30. When I asked my mom how long we had Netflix so I could find out how long I'd been eying the movie, she said "Longer than a breadbox". So...you got me there folks. This movie is about Jenna Rinks, a girl who's having her 13th birthday (in 1987). Now four times has my mom interrupted my writing process with a 'do this' 'do that'. And now she's complaining that I eat too many breath mints. Whattttt, they're tasty! Wow..who knew a review could turn into a therapy session for me...*cough* *cough* Anyways, this girl wishes to be '30, flirty, and thriving', and her wish comes true. But things aren't as great as they seem. With a few swears here and there (just a little), some humor about growing up, and classic but not-too-overplayed meaning within the movie, it's a great feel-good movie with no true deep meaning. And plus, you get to listen to great songs! Like Thriller and Jessie's Girl! I wish I had Jessie's girl! I wish I had Jessie's girl! You got to love the '80s! AND SHE'S WATCHING HIM WITH THOSE EYES! YOU KNOW I WISH THAT I HAD JESSIE'S GIRL! .... never tell anybody I have this side or else...

What do YOU starrate it?
Is this a story?
...Did you even read it?
Yes, I just got a little confused.
....how does it look like a story at all...
I know it's a movie, but I also figured it'd be combined with a story. But I don't believe it's a story.
