Bullying happens in every school and I mean EVERY school. Its mostly the people who are popular or the rebels making bad choices which leads to bad actions. Believe it or not I was bullied. And get this, I was in private school. Yes, I was in private school till third grade. I couldn't deal with bullying so I begged my Mom to homeschool me. Which was ironic because my parents were gonna stop paying for private school, even before I begged them. So I have been homeschooled since. They called me fat, and made fun of my glasses and judged me on my friends I grew up with. I was to young to know that I shouldn't run away from my fears, I should face them. If your dealing with bullying, follow these easy steps to stop bullying. 1. Usually the person who is bullying you has been bullied her/him self. Or they are jealous of your potential in life.2. Most people who are bullied don't tell their parents or teachers or principals, but, That's going at the wrong way.3. Don't seek revenge it makes it even worse. Don't stick to their level. Don't fight them, you will never gain anything from that. 4. Usually, bullies are insecure and they have self doubt. Its hard to believe their pretty lives with bad problems. 5. Don't give them a dead eye glare, instead, fill them with compassion and be kind with your words and actions. I can't give you a time limit to when people change from bullies to nice, because everybody is different. 6. It will take some time getting them a fresh start, but support them on good deeds, make them see what nice actions can do instead of the bad reaction horrible choices make. 7. Mostly people be bad because they don't gain anything from being good. They don't see rewards coming out of thin air for good. They do bad cause a tingle goes through they're soul. Make them see what being good does. 8. Most bullies have a horrible life. They try to act perfect in school or other places, but inside they are miserable. 9. If bullying keeps coming in your school, make sure you tell a trusted adult about your bullying problem, like teacher, principal, guidance councilor, vice principal, or your parents or a trusted adult. I hope these steps help you. And remember: "Fear can overcome us but we can overcome fear forever more. Our hearts shall remain our hearts alone." Yours truly-design4real

I agree. It's usually the popular kids who are mean. I've been made fun of because of my size. Very good post.

I have a hard time concentrating on things that aren't in paragraphs, so I skimmed through this, but I still recieved the message. To me, bullying isn't a big deal unless they put your hands on you. People consistently make being bullied verbally out to be a big deal. And why? Because so many people are trying to teach people not to bully (which is stupid because it's difficult to control the behavior of anyone but yourself) instead of teaching you how to respond to it: by smiling and laughing it off.
I've said this on various occasions, but if you get an insult from someone and you laugh it off or smile like it's nothing, (which it is), you'll slowly but surely begin to not care what anyone has to say about you if it's negative. I don't think there is a need for "#stopbullying", but rather a need for "#stopcaringaboutwords". Because all they're doing is shooting useless words at you that someone MADE UP. And you have the ability to catch the bullet and throw it away. You don't benefit from them saying kind words to you. So I personally believe that if you want to cope with bullying, that's all there is to think about. There's no number 9.
