So, I have recently PMed my virtual-aunt, Anneh, and later, my Mail turned into a Lock. I saw a tiny '1' in it, so I clicked it, and clicked on Anneh. Nothing happened. I clicked again, thinking it was lag. Again, nothing happened. So I quit out of the PM list, and yet, the little '1' was still on the lock. Is this a bug, or supposed to happen?

It's a small bug when someone who has you added, but you don't have them sends you a pm. ( not sure how it works. )

It was a bug, I think Damen fixed it.

I encountered the same bug. I saw two messages, and once I checked my list, it appeared no one sent me one.

Anneh must have got offline. If you relog it should be gone.
