I needed to clear up some things on the bullying situation..
First off, many people are unaware of what bullying is, and therefore believe that every little thing or conflicts are considered bullying. Below I have a definition of bullying from stopbullying.gov:

Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems.
An Imbalance of Power: Kids who bully use their power—such as physical strength, access to embarrassing information, or popularity—to control or harm others. Power imbalances can change over time and in different situations, even if they involve the same people.


Now, take a look at this definition. This definition states that bullying is a REPEATED action that involves POWER IMBALANCE (in this case, power imbalances could be things such as knowing mods, or simply just being more powerful then someone else. This definition of power imbalance doesn't fit so well with oldcp, but will be used to explain certain things.)

Let me get this straight for you guys: Bullying is not a one time thing, it is not something such as "Your ugly" that someone says ONCE. Although this is mean, this is just someone being mean, and isn't bullying. But, it can involve into bullying if the action is REPEATED, or done over again. Something such as someone constantly being mean to someone is bullying, not someone calling you "ugly" one time.

And honestly guys, I know these things and names can hurt, but you must remember that this is the internet, and you don't know these people, so why does it matter if someone calls you stupid or dumb, will it ever affect you? All bullies want is a reaction from you, and if you don't give them it or just brush off what they say, they'll wither. But if you react to these names and actually let it get to you, the bullies will be happy, and they will continue. Therefore, by reacting to bullies, the bullies can grow more strength.

DON'T LET THEM WIN. The bullies want a reaction!

The second thing I mentioned was POWER IMBALANCE. What does this mean? This means that one person is weaker than the other, and it becomes ONE SIDED, or in other words,one person is powerless while the other is much stronger and only one is being bullied. When two people fight back and forth, it'll become a conflict. For example, lets say Suzy walks up to Kara. Kara says Suzy's outfit is ugly, but Suzy then REACTS to Kara and says Kara is short. This, my friends, would be a CONFLICT, not bullying. I need to clear this up, for once you reply back and continue to reply and react to the bully, it is no longer bullying.
Power imbalances can also be things that make the bully more powerful or mean.

So, REPETITION and POWER IMBALANCE make up bullying. I'm so sick and tired of people calling small things bullying, when in reality, its nothing. So all this drama on little things being bullying really needs to stop, and conflicts between two individuals should be sorted out between those involved.
