Hi guys,

Just an update for people that aren't in the current iOldcp discord chats:

As the majority of users who play iOldCP celebrate Christmas including myself to some degree, me and Dunk decided to gift a day of no rules to all of the patreons that helped make the game possible.

We made it clear to all that played that this was a one day event and that everything would be removed the following day. Me and Dunk kept a thorough list of all the things we gave to people in order for us to fully reset things the next day.


Also, I only granted the "no death" feature to me and Dunk on this one day to ensure that we weren't prevented from reviving people as promised. After the day ended, we fully committed to going back to regular health + medkits only to ensure the game could remain balanced as we know we have no real right to run the game forever if the users decide for us not to do so.

We are currently working on a "council" system that is basic enough to be understood by all users and also allow the majority of people to have a larger say in what happens in the game. Myself and a few others are also working on an iOldCP release party to welcome everyone that wishes to join and play

TLDR: today was a one off to blow some steam for everyone and everything will be back to normal as originally stated tomorrow.


If anyone has any ideas for the game that they would like implemented then please put them below and we'll be more than happy to consider them as we strive to deliver a user-ran game as best as possible within reason.

Now that everyone has bonded better within the patreons we will be able to provide more updates in the upcoming couple of days before release in order to get feedback from everyone.
