Hello

Today Ive finally decided to make an application for OLDCP moderator. My name is Tom but most people know me as Tom080 or Presto. I made an account in 2013 but I barely played. I started playing a bit more in 2015 but 2016 was the year when I became very active on oldcp. My timezone is GMT and I am 14 years of age.

Past experience

Oldcp moderator, Game of Mods winner, Wise One, Most Wise, Imperial Knight, East Battalion, Nightwatch guard, Moth Priest, Moth Larva.

Why I think I should be a moderator again.

My timezone - If you guys aren't aware there is only one GMT moderator which is Zoe. I always find myself online and there are no moderators online. This could be because they are working, busy, or at school. When moderators are offline, users often break rules and I can't do anything as I have no powers. Due to me being GMT, I can be online when other moderators are unable to come online.

My activity - I have always been a very active user especially from 2016 onwards. I have placed 2nd in player of the month before and I am currently in 8th place with 3 days and over 12 hours. My current time is longer than some mods put together and if I were to become a mod, I would make this time even longer and be on whenever I can.

Me as a person - If you haven't noticed I have completely changed my ways since 2017. Nowadays I help users whenever I can, I am very polite to everyone and I am nothing like what I was like in the past. I am willing to be friends with anyone and I would keep this attitude as a moderator if I were to become one.

My experience - As me being a former mod I know how everything works. This includes of me knowing the commands, knowing how to moderate properely and overall just being a good mod

Why did I decide to apply now?

Well at the recent redemption it was unfair as people mainly voted for their friends. Only 2 people recommended me as a moderator at the redemption which is totally fine, but I just want people to notice me more. Another reason was the issues I always have on oldcp. I often find myself in situations were a moderator is needed but it always takes time for them to do something. An example of this is drama, some mods ignore it but I believe something should be done about this as I'm pretty sure Damen wants people to friendly to eachother in his community and not arguing with moderators taking no notice.

Promises

I promise to stay loyal to the empire and never break any rules. By this I mean I will not do any bad things such as kill people or abuse commands.
I promise to help everyone if they need anything. I do this already but it would be easier as a moderator if a user was breaking rules for example before I had logged in.
I promise to stay as active as I can. I am not quitting oldcp any time soon and I won't go inactive. I will always aim for 4+ days a month at least.

Conclusion

So I believe I should become a moderator as I am experienced and active enough and I can also be online when most moderators can't be online.

Your application is good Tom, but you should wait until the Moderator vacancies are up.
I'm sure the mods would still keep you in mind
