This Month's Player of the Month competition was rather slow. It started off with Carly in the lead on stats. She got in 3 days and 16 hours before disappearing for the rest of the month. It took a long time for people to catch up to her and pass her on stats. Randy and Lunarwolf (Chis) were the first to pass her. The rest of the month would end up becoming a battle between the two of them to see who would claim March POTM. The race for 1st was close but Randy ended up winning after Chis died several times during the month but ended up getting revived.



This Player of the Month Ceremony went differently from the previous POTM Ceremonies. I started off by hosting it as a joke and it got a bit awkward when Damen came, but he didn't do any formal ceremony and just had the top three stand on the podium for photos. After which, Randy gave a speech. He attributed his victory to Carly quitting and Chis dying three times throughout the month.



Shortly after the conclusion of the ceremony, more people came online and joined in for the Chance Card Lottery.





Since Jesse abdicated from King of the North earlier this week, Damen decided to announce a new one today. Damen selected his son, Edmund, to become the new KOTN. This was against Jesse's wishes that the North go to Flame since he had promised it to him after narrowly being elected KOTN during the New Era Redemption that occurred in January.

Flame was rather unhappy with this decision so he decided that he would 'liberate' the North. Goblin King, Miromeski, aided Flame in his claim to the North.

This all looked as though it could become a fun fight for the North, but it ended rather quickly. Edmund didn't care to own the North so he handed it to Flame peacefully. Flame was later named King of the North.


After Flame was crowned, he gave a speech. In his speech he promised that he would not let the North become a place of evil. He is going to try to turn it into a wealthy money making land. Flame is a draconian, so I guess we shall see if he will be true to his word or not. Either way, a draconian run land so close to the South could be interesting to watch develop.
