Vultures are one of the creations of Melody. But there are a few questions I have about these vultures.
1. Are all/any vultures able to manifest the form of a person? When I was a witch, I was often referred to as being a "snaggle toothed vulture", yet I could not take the form of a vulture.
2. If vultures are not able to manifest the form of a person, were they ever people before?
3a. Since Melian and I are both daughters of MotherVulture, will we ever be able to manifest the form of a vulture?
3b. Were we really hatched?
4. Is goblin meat the equivalent of road kill irl (food-wise for a vulture)?
5. Are there a lot of other vultures in existence or are they more rare?
The only Vulture we have met is MotherVulture. What I have learned from her is that she is truly a vulture. She does not speak to us except in emotes and differing kinds of screeches. Shes so cute because she tried to take care of Melian and I like we were still just little vulture chicks by feeding us meat from something she had killed. There are some things that I wonder about her though. Such as:
1. How did Melian and I get separated/taken from her?
2. Does she have a vulture husband that she is with?
3. Is she able to manifest the form of a person?
So that is basically what I have been thinking about vultures.

Mothervulture was kidnapped by the Faceless One we met recently. You were born on Das. So basically, I guess Father Vulture went to the Goblin store and never came back either. Or he took care of you and sent you off when you were ready to fly.
2. Does she have a vulture husband that she is with?
Yes, FatherVulture exists in the database. He should be wondering somewhere on das, since.
3. Is she able to manifest the form of a person?
Probably with magic.

Honestly, I don't know. It depends. Vultures were created by Snowfalls, she'd probably know the answer to that. Instead, I provide a theory. Vultures were inhabitants of Das, most likely Pirates and witches, that were kidnapped by snowfalls, and turned into Vultures as experiments with magic, she didn't wipe their memories. This could explain you not turning into vultures, you and Melian, since you possibly were spared, or not kidnapped. Or snowfalls had a vision you two would become great witches, and left you be. So possibly MotherVulture is a witch too. She can understand human language, which means she has great intellect, so my theory is quite questionable.

Depends, maybe magic turned you into humans, or you were adopted. Possible that you could find a spell to shift between the two forms. Ask snowfalls, she'd know.

It is possible you were adopted.

- Rare on Cobia, probably. Mothervulture was kidnapped from Das. So they should be pretty common there, if not, in the trees. They definitely live on Corvo though. (prisoner island)
