Sriram is unworthy to be an heir to the throne in any way, shape, or form. He is an execration to this empire, an attaint. He cares for no one but himself. Not that I agree with Sriram being an heir to the throne, I dont see how Chelsey is of royal blood. Damen is the son of Argon Spike, which was the second Emperor. So unless she is his sister or unless Chelsey is the descendant of RocketSnail, she is not of royal blood with any real claim to the throne.

It's because Chelsey was married into the Royal family (via a wedding with Damen) which means her children are therefore legitimate. Sriram's mom was not made official as she supposedly never married Damen (god know who she really is!!).

He is saying that Damen's children are not royal without Chelsey, the female monarch, being their mother. Damen as your father alone does not make you a royal. Of course Damen himself is royal with or withour Chelsey.
