Hello everyone,

I know it may seem unusual to see an Administrator application popping up in the feed of the DSGHQ Forums, but today I am filling out an Application to become an Administrator of Oldcp/DSGHQ. Enjoy.

I joined the DSGHQ community and Oldcp back in the year of 2013. I grew up with this game, met many people on this game that helped me through some of the hardest points in my life, and was taught many values that have helped me in this life from this community. As a child, I never had many friends in real life, so I always found refuge in the community of DSGHQ. In recent years though, many of my old friends from the 2013 era "grew up" and moved on with their lives, leaving me as one of the only original users left in the community. As the community has been going through some changes in recent years, it has seemed that the user based declined increasingly, but there was still a very conservative following of the community. As 2019 has proceeded to carry on, the following has started to pick back up again, and it seems that newer users and moderators/ranks need guidance in their journey as a staff member of the DSGHQ. So this point brings me to my reasoning for applying for DSGHQ Administrator. Due to my experience in the past as a staff member and shortly lived Emperor Helper/Administrator I believe that I am more than qualified to lead this game and steer it into the right direction. As a user who has a great relationship with my fellow users, and who is seen as a leader among the userbase, I believe that if I am granted and given the rank of Administrator, I could do many great things for this community. I would be able to make sure that there is an equal balance of power among all, and that users are satisfied with their game-play, and I would accommodate those users who feel like something is missing or they are needing more from the game. Also as an Administrator, I would help Damen and the rest of the Administration in developing and creating new ideas to keep the user-base satisfied with the game.

My experience in the game is pretty clear to many. I am a former Moderator of Oldcp and the Forums and a former Emperor Helper of Oldcp. I have many more ranks that are too long of a list to name, but recent history can show my credentials very well.

In the past, I was told that the only reason I was not granted Administrator was due to the fact that I was immature. I will admit that in the past, I was very immature and due to lack of social skills and experience in life, I did not know how to properly act when given responsibility. In my defense though, as a 17 year old who has been through many things in his recent years, I am more mature than 95% of children my age, and am more than capable of leading a community that I love in the right direction.

I was told that because Damen does not really accept Applications via post anymore that I most likely will not be accepted. Although this may be true, I believe that Damen knows the type of person I am and has great respect for my effort. I hope that you all see the potential and leadership I can bring to this community and hopefully I will be your next Administrator, leading and guiding you all in the direction of greatness, not only in this community, but in your future lives.

I think this is a really great application, well worded and put together. Throughout my time in OldCP I've always thought you were a great member of the community, I think you'd be a perfect fit for Administrator.

However, if you are aiming for such a high rank, please do think about what you say to people, especially when it is entirely out of context.

Adawg exhibits a compassionate personality and it is shown especially here in this photo from the PIRATE WAR. Notice how he says "HASHIR RUN" instead of leaving the room. This indicates that he cares more about the friends he surrounds himself with instead of his own self, which is why I believe and agree he would be a strong Administrator. From knowing Adawg since 2016, it has been a pleasure to be close friend of the legend himself

Damen please dont mess up here. This is a great person to promote who I believe would do incredible things for the community.

You seem like you have a desire for this rank. Honestly, you deserve it. You are active and willing to do a lot for OldCP and the DSGHQ. After reading this I have gained more background information about you and I truly think you would bring great things to this game. We need you. I don't know if Damen is looking for Administrators right now but dang man, you deserve it.
