Random people are paying for a developer who has obtained source code from my game OldCP to make them an OldCP copy. Some of these people are using it as a way of stealing IP addresses and passwords (apparently).

People are already being doxed, so be careful.

If any of you become staff on a rival OldCP, you will be demoted on OldCP/iOldCP. You need to set the right example and not risk other people's safety.

Exactly, a lot of the time these don't proxy sockets made through flash since that runs on different network settings to those set within Chrome.

p.s. There’s this server called FoundryCP that seems like it has an actual CPPS site and they’re making your account for you. I’m happy I didn’t get an account on that site. I DO NOT KNOW IF THAT’S THE CASE WITH THEM! (I think it is though.)

This has happened to me before. My work was stolen and republished without credits, this sucks.

Be careful everyone, even if you just went on that website for curiosity, they still have access to your passworrd and internet protocol address. You should always, and i mean always use a vpn.

Wait can they get your IP just by clicking on the site or do you have to make an account.

You need to have logged onto an account for them to be able to get your IP.
