In addition, the GMT timezone has always been a challenge for DSGHQ to find staff who live within this geographic time frame. Since there is only less than a handful of staff who live in this timezone, I think I would be a great asset to the team since I can help improve overall moderation activity during the "dark hours" of the game.
Why I want to become an OldCP Moderator: Honestly, the sheer absence of moderators from my timezone disgusts me. Time and time again, I'd be online at a time when GMT users are usually online and I'd see so many rules being broke. Whether it's cussing or abusing weaponary, I knew that I had to begin pushing for Moderator to put an end to such tomfoolery. Also, it cannot go without saying that I've dreamt about being a Moderator ever since I joined 6 years ago - the responsibility and trust you are given as one would definitely be repaid by someone like me, who would be enabled to unlock my full potential within the community. It must also be mentioned that the fact I have not ever put a foot wrong in terms of being banned, and participating in GOM for 6 years, which displays how I want to boost this trustiness and respect by attaining this job. I also want to repeat how I'm always rational with my decision-making; this is conveyed through multiple examples, however, the main example would have to be the fact that I always make sure my friends are following the rules. Regardless of how close they may be to me, they must always follow the rules as they're in a bigger friendship than just me and them - they're within a friendship consisting of this beautiful community, and no one should ever feel hurt or be messed around with by rulebreaking users.
To summarise, my qualities have been on display for the entire longevity of my stay in this wonderful community. I believe that with the current affairs of the timezone issues and the intensified personal drive to reach my own, self-reflected achievements, it is a great time to push for this job. My thought process and other abilities contribute to this too. I do in fact have some references from past and present Moderators to consolidate the stated.
