Hello, my name is Joelle. My username in OldCP is Joelles6406. I am currently 16 years old, and live in Illinois. My time zone is Central. I prefer to be contacted on discord but I am open to other platforms as well.
Some of the ranks in OldCP are OldCP Moderator, Imperial Knight, Detective, Forum Moderator, and Discord Moderator.
I personally believe that I would fit best in the category OldCP Moderator. I believe this because I have been playing OldCP for around 4 or 5 years, and I have done a lot of observing the community and I have learned what is right and what is wrong. In my time of playing, I have reported many players breaking the rules to staff. I make sure to read the rules very carefully before accusing a player of doing something wrong or disrespectful. I enjoy helping people and building stronger communities, because of this trait I feel as if being an OldCP moderator would be perfect for me.
I think you should pick me over somebody else because I am determined to get this role. If I don’t get it this time, I will not stop trying. I will be on the server at least 4 hours a day, and I will make sure the rules are being followed and everyone is satisfied. I will not hesitate to give consequences or get a staff of a higher rank than me to help the situation. Most importantly, I will respect all of the players and staff in the community. I want to make the game a safe community and I will give it my all keeping all the players satisfied. I have been around this community since I was around 10 years old, and I would love to be apart of the team helping the game as much as I can.

Good application, although it is possible to obtain the rank of moderator without a vacancy, it's more common that when a vacancy is open applications will be looked at through this website. https://damenspike.com/vacancies, here, all the requirements and responsibilities will be listed for whatever the rank is. Good luck with your application anyway!

Hello Joelle!,
This is a really great start to an application - I think you have the general idea of a good Moderator application. Although I do agree with Julian though, applications are more commonly accepted when they are being looked for on the vacancies page (https://damenspike.com.vacancies). On there, the whole application will be neatly formatted for you and all you'll have to do is fill in the boxes with the appropriate information. If you don't want to apply on vacancies, you can try applying sporadically on the forums and search other people's Moderator applications to find better formats that make you application look sharp (click the search bar and type something like 'Moderator Application'.). If vacancies and applying on forums isn't your thing, you could always try participating in Game of Mods (GOM), which is a seasonal competition where teams do tasks for 3 rounds (3 days) and the winner is appointed to Moderator. Joining a GOM team is a great way to make friends and become known on OldCP.
