So this post will be about oldcp. And uh, pls dont hate on me. Also note that this is just my opinion, and jake01 on oldcp suggested for me to do this, so here we go.

Oldcp, alot of words can define it, special, unique, cool, annoying, but theres one word that stands out to me : messy. Oldcp is messy with all the cz crimezone, and a lot of other things too actually. Once you leave oldcp, its kinda hard to catch up on all the things going on. Mainly CZ. but now the thing that i dont get at all. Theres basically 20 mods on oldcp.biz, yet each month theres like an average of 30 users. Now this may be false, but the 2nd number does NOT matter, even if you had 100 users average each month, 1/5 of them would be mods. (also by average i mean number of users on each day.) Dont get me wrong, i love the mods, but theres SO much. A youtuber named IHASYOU has a 19k discord with only 15 mods and its running smoothly. Tom was one of the only mods on with 28 users one day. give people that are active some authority. (you have no idea how many times ive been on and somebody broke a rule without a mod being there) And thats really what i think, thanks for reading the post (also i bet somebody would say "who are you" so im oreo)

in a discord server, mods can look over each channel whenever they please & catch up on conversation. on oldcp, conversations are gone after they happen, so a moderator needs to be online and watching at all times. we have seventeen moderators to cover different timezones, and multiple rooms if needed. i'm not sure how the amount of moderators we have would make the game messy though.

i agree that crimezone can be difficult to keep up with, so can all the different ranks and changes within them. oldcp is definitely messy in that respect.

No, I agree. I’ve been back for over a week now and haven’t even seen some of the moderators on at all. And I’m pretty active. So I totally agree with you.

I agree, the Crime Zone can be hard to catch up with upon leaving OldCP and we do have a surplus of Moderators on the game currently. For the concern of not seeing Moderators on at times, that could be because of the fact that some of our staff do have different time zones other than EST. Although most of the staff are EST, so it's a bit disappointing if they're not on during those key hours. When it comes to being a staff member on a Discord server, there are many tools available at hand for these people. Like Chelsey mentioned, they can see every single message posted by a specific person or look for specific words/phrases. These servers also have bots that help with moderating as well and an automated system will always be better than a person if it is programed well. For OldCP staff, the only tool we have is the OldCP Cinema which tends to not work most of the time and if it does the staff need to look through minutes of dialogue. There's a lot of staff because we all work together to collect all of the pieces of the issue and put them all together. So in all, we have to go by the cinema (if it works) or word of mouth from users.

I'm sorry if you don't see much moderators online (despite how many moderators we have), I'm not online while the EST users are awake because I live on the other side of the world and I sleep. I know that I wasn't on during my time for the past week, but that's because I was busy with a long assignment. Moderating is more challenging, especially for us older kids who have to worry about exams so it's pretty great we have a lot of moderators who can cover our shifts. With crimezone, I agree.

when i said average i mean average users online, not how long they played the game. But i do see where youre coming from
