when i received queen regent of snaildom, i was thrilled that i would finally receive the opportunity to fix up the game and help out. immediately, i was shut down by damen who said it was a waste of time to work on snaildom bc it's not a priority. i was sad because editing the game was almost the only way i could fix the game. i wasn't gonna let this keep me down though and so i hosted a few game nights on snaildom here and there because as long as oldcp is alive, there will never be users on snaildom going online daily. today on discord, someone asked me why i had so many excuses.

i don't believe i have too many excuses but here they are. whenever i try hyping up a game or event via using @everyone on discord, everyone complains that i pinged them. if i don't ping, then nobody knows about the event and nobody really comes. it's such a tough situation because how am i supposed to hype things up if nobody cares? i also only have rank 4 abilities so i can't do much more than give people titles and namecolors. i tried to do a GOM today (rescheduled to next week) but everyone was on oldcp so when it happened, about 10 users came online and it wasn't enough.

now this part is pretty bad and i completely apologize about all of it. when the 10 users came online, i decided to have a little fun of my own and give everyone their requests with the commands i did have. i gave everyone custom namecolors and titles and swords. i gave swords because there is instarevives on snaildom so i thought it would be fun to treat it as a free-for-all. now i did give flame the title "Lesbixn" and said "kill the lesbixn." that joke was in poor taste and i'm very sorry for saying it. i didn't realize it could come off so offensive but now i learned and i won't make jokes like these again. anyways, then i went on snaildom discord and made 2 server admins who made like 5 mods each. i am not faulting them here because i shouldn't have done that myself so i take full responsibility. I also apologize for continuing drama.

i guess i was just so fed up with feeling useless because it takes a crap ton of effort to make users care about snaildom and they still don't. i went on a power trip because i wanted to have a little fun of my own and i did tbh. it was a lot of fun because i was with my friends making jokes and giving cool namecolors of their request. also snaildom was really active during that hour or two. however i now realize the severe consequences of my actions. i really am trying to improve snaildom but it takes a lot of work trying to revive a game that's already buried 6 feet under.

Note: I completely apologize about my distasteful joke about lesbixns. I am an ally and completely respect the LGBTQ+ community so i really am more directing this apology towards the LGBTQ+ community. i am disappointed in myself for making displeasing remarks and am open to any backlash i may receive so i hope i can be forgiven. i would also like to apologize to terry for being put in this awkward position.

First I would like to say I forgive you, but Sam being a close friend of yours it was disappointing to see you say something like this. I’m aware that those may of not been your intentions in any way shape or form, but words like that will escalate the way they did and I’m glad you can realize that now. On the other hand, I understand that you may have been hurt by the treatment that you got about snaildom, and how it hasn’t been acknowledged. But at least we all learn from our mistakes. Overall lesson is, don’t react with your feelings. React with what’s right. I hope people are able to move past this, and I have your back for anything

sam, i know you would've been an amazing queen regent if the game was able to be revived. there is only so much you can do with a game that hasn't been updated for years and will never be again. people need to understand that. no matter who got regent, this is the way it would have turned out anyway. a game that doesn't get consistently updated with fresh content every now and then is obviously not going to attract users. oldcp also plays a huge part in this, because it was the reason snaildom shut down in the first place; everyone only cares about oldcp.

regarding what happened, i forgive you and i think all that matters is that you learned from it. mistakes like these will help you know not to slip up again in the future. i don't even blame you for giving people namecolors and weapons, i mean, what else can you even do on the game? lol

i understand that the admins were just trying to revive the game, but my question is, what was the point? everyone knew this was going to happen. there was no point in putting someone in charge that can't make a change. don't feel bad, it isn't your fault. snaildom's death is inevitable, now it's just a memory.

it's fine we all make mistakes, i know u can't do anything about this but maybe if someone designed new islands / room for damen to add to snaildom people would want to try it out and maybe if it had it's own crimezone im sure that would get people on, neither games are really that big so it's hard when you split an already small playerbase over 2 games and obviously the 1 with less content is going to be the one left behind

Games run off a server, you usually have to buy them, but you gotta pay monthly to keep it alive

It's difficult when you're only active admin on the game without an ability to edit and make new changes to it. The game might be slightly different if you had Rank 5 abilities, but you would still need Damen for bigger things like catalog update. It's sad that you can do only some things for the game on your own without Damen or Rank 5 admins when you're Queen Regent. Regardless, it's still difficult because OldCP has the priority over other DSGHQ games.

For the situation last night, probably no one wants me at fault, but still. I could've stopped you any soon by reminding you about what you're doing right now, but I was flinched bc that was unexpected. I stood right here watching whatever you did whole time when I had time to take action. Though I won't let my mistake happen again anyway. Also I forgive you because you apologized and learned your lessons. We all make mistakes and learn from them.

Even if I added Snail Battle Royale and 100000 new items, it would not become active. It is alive for the memories only. And it is an honor to be the Queen Regent of such a DSGHQ classic!

if you want to have it running 24/7 you need to pay for a server. sometimes people run servers off their personal computers but it's less safe and you have to have the program running/keep you computer on, but its not good for DDoS attacks.

it is an honor but i promised to do all these things like add a few items here and there, and now i can’t do them. snail battle royale does sound cool tho
