This post is basically a part two to Orbay's discussion (go read that first).
I've been in this community for 7 years, and I have never officially dropped the game. I have seen so many changes to OldCP and the community in general.
Like Orbay said, I think the Drake lineage and the current mess that you happen to call CrimeZone, should be dropped completey. Damen mentioned in another discussion that he will reset the game in 2021.
So here are my suggestions if the game gets reset.
1. Monarchy or Democracy?
The game is run by Damen, who is the Emperor of the South, the mainland. He has sons who he gives limitless power to. What his reason for choosing them is? I couldn't say. But currently the game is run by a monarchy. So the users don't really have a say with the decisions for leaders in the game (please correct me if I'm wrong though).
At some point (2017 I believe) the title "President" was introduced, and there were elections. We were able to vote who could run the game. They would have proposals and we got to choose the right person according to what we thought was important for the game. But that was soon taken away.
I think the game should be run by a president, but the decisions of the president aren't final until a council approves or disapproves of the decision, following specific guidelines. Or the users could have a say in the decisions and every time the president proposes a new idea, the users can vote whether or not it should happen.
2. Crime Zone.
I think crime zone should be reset completely.
We should have a board of organized, creative, trusted, experienced, and non-biased individuals (kept anonymous obviously) to be in charge of crime zone. They should follow guidelines that, in my opinion, should be set by the community. However, the board would be appointed by Damen or whoever the warden is. This way, the anonymity of the board will be kept.
Right now the crime zone is a mess, and you can't tell me I'm wrong. It is disorganized and biased.
3. Warden.
The warden appointed by Damen should also be approved of the community first. That said, if the users give a good enough reason as to why this person should NOT be the warden, then it should be taken into consideration. The users should be given a deadline to submit these reasons, but if none are submitted by the end of the deadline, then the Damen can appoint that person as warden.
4. User base.
I think OldCP has so much potential and that once organized, new people will realize this and want to stick around more. I don't know the money situation with this game, but if possible, I think we should advertise OldCP. And not just by "spreading the word" about it, but by having an actual advertisement.
5. Suggestion "Box".
I think that instead of having a discussion category dedicated to suggestions, I think there should be a tab where you can suggest ideas or give feedback to the administration. The users can't comment on suggestions but can vote if they like the idea or not. And the administration has to open the suggestions and it should say either "read by an Administrator" when an Admin opens a suggestion (this should be automatic), and "approved by an Administrator" which will confirm that the suggestion is going to be added. There should also be "disapproved by an Administrator" and with an explanation with why the suggestion was disapproved.
[The main idea of this entire discussion is that there should be an organized system for the game.]

Why though? I’m sure they know there’s a bunch of cp private servers.
It kinda makes sense, but then doesn’t. I’m just throwing in ideas, doesn’t specifically have to be those. They can be altered.
