Taking one look at some of the rules and other issues that come with them; I believe there are plenty easy fixes for them, that are pretty much common goddamn sense.

1. Innocents being killed
Solution: Anyone that isn't armed with a weapon to defend themselves shouldn't be able to die; there's already a nodeath command and several other things that could fix this problem. Banning people for killing innocents is genuinely just stupid considering how easy you could fix that problem.

2. Spawnkills
Solution: Swords don't work on people in spawn but other things do; why not apply a spawn protection to everyone that joins a room, like 10 seconds maybe?

3. Weapon Abuse
Solution: Considering how much of a goddamn problem it is? Just remove weapons entirely. Crimezone is literally nothing more than getting 1 hit killed by some OP ass people or watching 2 OP ass people hit each other with 1 hit kill sword for a good long while. It's not even a story; because the characters aren't characters, they're the equivalent of actual clowns. You refuse to have anyone that isn't your "close friends" to do anything for you and those people happen to be genuinely awful at writing and playing out stories. (Except the few actors for the Shinobi, and some of those. They weren't the best but they were certainly better.) Also, don't force crimezone onto people who want nothing to do with it, and include more of the people that actually do.

4. Moderators
Why do you need so many moderators? Genuinely, I don't see it. I get it, right, people are rude sometimes, and drama is bad. But honestly, moderators don't actually seem to be the best course of action. A lot of them are just annoying. The rules are overbearing. Also; I have no problem with swearing being against the rules. But if you have a filter for it, you don't need half of the goddamn userbase to be a moderator. Not only that, but for some reason, no matter how they die, they get revived. That makes no sense. If they can be revived instantly, they shouldn't be allowed to have weapons on their account, it just unbalances things.

I could go on and on about the things that I had problems with. The only reason I made these is because of the recent occurrences with some of the few people actually still willing to play the game.

At the end of the day, OldCP is not a game, it's a church. Damen does not use OldCP to cater to the people playing it, he has OldCP only to cater to himself. And nothing more.

And it's going to die out faster and faster the more things don't change.

As ive repeatedly stated
Drama is the only thing keeping the community alive at this point. None of the people who create drama get a punishment equal to what they've done. Its incredibly frustrating because no one can fully enjoy this community anymore because its just full of toxicity at this point. I've witnessed so much drama in the not even a month since I've "returned". I no longer enjoy longing onto forums or the OLDCP game because its completely empty and when it isn't its just full of trolls. I remember the days when it was exciting to get a rank or it was exciting to meet new people but now all of the amazing people have basically left and the only people left behind are the toxic trolls. From the drama that I've witnessed the person causing was never punished properly because Damen wanted to investigate but the victim got a slap on the wrist and the person causing has yet to receive a punishment and if they have it hasn't made a difference. Several people I talk to admit they only go on OLDCP for hours to have access to IOLDCP.
Its honestly disheartening to see a community I once wanted to be apart of is now nothing more than people being offensive and cruel

Drama rules and moderators can't fix that.

"Drama" is too loose of a concept.
It's not something you can just "prohibit" because it's something very hard to stop. The way to get over this is to ignore it.
But the problem is, OldCP rewards that behavior.

Take one user; they go out in a discord server, and come across someone they have a problem with. Things escalate outside of the game and the moment they get into the game they start gaining attention.

Trolls are so popular because the way the community approaches them is by giving them the attention they want. Sure, it's negative attention; but that's what they already expected.

Do you think banning them is going to stop them? The more you do to outline them the more you fuel their attention. The best thing to do would have been to just ignore these things.

By putting a rule on "stopping Drama" you only cause more of it by default. The more voice you give to it, the louder it gets.
There's no way you can stop toxicity or anything similar in a community other than ignoring it.

I said I was done with the game. I still linger vaguely in the community.

Simple PSA to everyone: If you want the game to die, just stop playing it. Playing the game and coming on here to complain is just giving this game more attention. We all say how bad the game is and what's wrong with it, we've been doing the same song and dance for years. Nothing is changing, so if nobody is satisfied I honestly just recommend going somewhere else and continuing to talk to your friends on another platform. I understand the passion for trying to fix the community, but there's no point when it feels like your words are falling on deaf ears.
