The crime was the following: (btw you didn't need to know all of this, the info came from events earlier in the week)

This was a rather... revolutionary form of hitman. No questions. No buts. Only say the name of your intended victim and pay it a thousand gold coin. Then, without delay, it'd go off in search to choke the life out of its target... your target.

'HenryTurner', a pirate scum who has little more wit than a pile of bricks, thought it'd be smart to steal the GOLAM and profit from its killings. Yes, the GOLAM always gave the gold to its master. But little did Henry know, the GOLAM only answers to a very specific tune. One in which Henry had no idea of.

AND so... Henry, eager to make lots of WONGA (money), went and freed the GOLAM from the place of its master's keeping. But when the time came to get the gold from the monster, it did... nothing.

"Give me the gold! Give me it! Why you useless malfunctioning zombie! Give Henry the gold! Do I have to pay you? Here's a thousand! You can keep it! Just give me the rest!"

and so... unwittingly Henry stated his name... and also payed the creature. And immediately, the GOLAM reached its pale long arms, throbbing with tensile strength, and went to wrap them around Henry.

Reaching for his flintlock, Henry fired a shot into the GOLAM's thick hide. It belted backwards, allowing Henry the slip. Off he went, knowing now he had to kill it before it came and killed him in his sleep.

So Henry went about staging kills, in order to have the GOLAM KOS'd, getting others to do his saving work for him. But on being spotted killing and placing bodies around the isles by Dice, Henry was forced to confess.

He later died by the hand of Eivenrhawk, who slayed the rotten thief where he stood.

Main Clue

The rope and the obviously fake note at the dock shows that Henry must've killed the victims as the GOLAM does not need to use a ROPE but uses his bare HANDS! Henry could only kill them with the help of a rope.

Winners:

Sled (limited info but on the right trail), Dice's (his #3rd theory perfectly simple truth)

That Scum Poisoned me, I said I would get my Revenge.

It was a grudge I held, But at least I avenged those who fell to him.

There should be a monthly Game of Dets type event but without the promotion of a detective (unless Saber wants to)

I am glad that I got the opportunity to view this event. I thought that the task was very interesting and mysterious. It was definitely challenging. I hope that Game of Detectives will continue someday in the future. A news report on this will be written and published soon.
Cheers to Sled and Dice.
