Hello every penguin! This is the 8th poem in the series: "Poems that Care", and today's poem is: Winning isn't all. What inspired me to write this poem, is the moderator competition is coming up, and if you don't win, you are still a winner. Here it is:

"Winning isn't all,
If you lose you do not bawl,
What you do is try your best.
And you win like you had guessed.

You can win in your mind,
But you are not going blind.
For what you see, you believe,
And no matter what, you win like me.

You may not be the winner, but your the best of all.
For it is not about skill, or if your small or tall.
It matters about sportsmanship, the reason it was made?
You may not be the winner, but congratulate other penguins, or your friendship will fade."

One more thing, today in class there was an activity where you had to rhyme words with dark, so here is a bonus poem, just for fun:

"It is dark in the park,
The dogs are yelping bark,
The dog's owner's name is Mark,
And Mark is singing Hark.
Imagining he was on an ark,
and running on an aardvark,
With his dog barking in the park."
