This is just to help clear things up for those who were too lazy to look through the announcements and see the "Final OldCP Game Announcement" discussion: OldCP is down forever.

The reason for it being down forever was because of a "DCMA appeal" by Disney, DCMA being the Defense Contract Management Agency. It is possible that Damen actually meant the DMCA, or the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, but the main thing is that the game is shut down because of this, and it will no longer be brought back up.

Please do not try to protest against OldCP being down, because it won't be back up.

On a similar note, please do not get angry at Penguin Chat 4. The reason for it having no clothes, money, etc. that Club Penguin did is because it is not Club Penguin. OldCP was a remake of Club Penguin, and because of the appeal, it will no longer be up. Penguin Chat 4 is based on Penguin Chat, NOT Club Penguin. Because of that little fact, Damen made the game for users to play a game as close to OldCP as possible.

Also, do not feel that Penguin Chat is all you're getting from Damen. The game PenguinIsles is being made and hopefully released to the public by New Year's.

Well, I'm sad about this. I knew it would happen someday, but people always said "Damen won't let OldCP down -- EVER!!!" and he did.
I can't believe it.

I read the whole discussion of http://forums.clubpenguin.pro/view/?id=6476 and I gave a +1 and I gave a nice, long, detailed, meaningful reply.

I am sad though.

I don't mean to be offensive about what I'm about to say, but please do your homework before turning it in. OldCP.biz was the source of OldCP, and so it is not considered advertising as it is one of many of Damen's domains.

OldCP.biz was a remake of OldCP. It was Damen's original game on here before Penguin chat. The reason it is gone is because of Disney and their stupid DCMA. It will be missed but everyone has at least got the newer games Damen is making. OldCP was shut down in November.
