Hello every penguin! A lot of times, I see a penguin now and then make a mistake when they are trying to use one of the command taskbar codes. The ones I will be showing you how to perfect today, are:
Color
Now, you might think that Color is easy, but when you want a specific color, you are out of luck. Color looks like this [color=][/color], and most of you know how to use regular colors, but let us start simple. Here are the steps for a simple Color code:
1) Click on the color button.
2) After the equal sign, you will put the color your want. e.g. Blue
3) In between the [color=] and [/color], you will type what you want to be in the specific color.
4) You will now have something that looks like this.
But, there is another way to get the most specific color you want in any shade: hexes. Hexes are different shades of color codes, such as Magenta, the code would be FF00FF. Here is how to use a hex:
1) Click on the color button.
2) After the equal sign, type in the hex you want. e.g. FF002B
3) In between the [color=] and [/color], you will type what you want to be in the specific hex.
4) You will now have a hexed color that looks like this.
The only problem is, how are you going to find the hexes? Well, there are various websites that tell you most hexes such as:
• www.colorpicker.com (Selected by Hashir)
Size
Size is easier to do than putting in a hex code, but there is a catch to it. Here are the steps:
1) Click on the Size button.
2) Enter the size you want. (Here is the catch: you can only go up to 5.)
3) Enter the words you want to be in your size.
4) You now have something that looks something like this.
List
List I would say is probably the least known of all the Commands, but once you get used to it, you will be able to list with ease. Here are the steps to List:
1) Click on the list button.
2) After the *, type in the first on your list.
3) If you want more on your list, after the first set of words, you will put another [*].
4) If you want more, keep repeating the process until you are complete.
5.
I will show one more thing before the end of this post, and that is combining commands.
Combining commands
Combining commands is not really that hard, you just have to get them to work. Some commands do not work together, like link and quote, or link and image. Here is the list of things you can do together:
~Bold and Italicized
~Bold and Strike-through
~Bold and Left
~Bold and Underlined
~Bold and Center

Nice, but maybe you might want to add a link to take the the hex code box? If yes, link is below.
