Have you ever wanted to make coded websites? You can learn PHP,HTML, JavaScript and more! The website is code academy. Right now, I'm on PHP. Here's how it looks like. :)

Cool right? Something I learned is that if you wanna know if someone made their website out of coding, you can check because it would look like this: http://www.funforlife.com/index.html or php

Java script is for making games. My brother made a website all out of coding! IF you want the link to it, pm, his website is EPIC! Anyways, I'm not going off topic, so, when I learn, I'm giving out lessons. Hashir uses code academy. IDK if he still does, but yea. So, have fun using code academy! :-)

I would NOT recommend codecademy for beginners. The site is good, but it can lead to confusing and misleading details. I did find it helpful for basic HTML and CSS, but once it got to more serious coding, it didn't give all the right amount of good information. Some codes they give you are actually harder to understand than what most regular programmers know. I would suggest you know a good amount of coding before venturing towards this site. The site does not provide good help or hints and can be frustrating to some users. I have suggested this site to others before, but then going back to it and remembering what it was like, I found it not to be the best source of help.

Not all people will agree with this, and some may actually work with it better than others. The site isn't as bad as I may make it sound like. It is updated constantly, but it still needs much improvement. I just wanted to warn users who may find codecademy as giving them a hard time and may be too difficult to use.

Otherwise, I appreciate you helping others learn to code. An event known as the hour of code has being going around the internet, and this helps make that possible.

Codecademy won't teach you everything you need to know about the programming languages that it offers. If you want to get into real coding, I suggest buying books or going to the direct websites of the programming languages you want to learn which have more in-depth information about the language. And as Secret said, Codecademy is good for learning HTML and CSS. Other than that, try books.

HTML is for making websites. You do not really need to learn it, because websites let you type. But if you were a big beginner, you can use Page Breeze. It allows you to type in your webpage, and shows you the HTML code used.
