I don't think it is an virus. Since in the photo it says AVG. I have AVG it protects your device and checks for threats. It probably saw scanned an threat and reported to you. Otherwise if you don't believe me ask an elder.
There are things that pretend to be Virus protecters. Otherwise, if this is your Antivirus (AVG), then you're safe. But if it made a weird noise, it was fake.

Honestly- I'm not sure.
Like Anna, I also have Norton, and also a Virus Detector...
I mean, I have a Windows 7, and it HAS made weird noises, but honestly, I don't think it is a virus.
Maybe you can tell your parents perhaps, and just tell them that you were looking something up, and an ad popped up, giving you an unknown virus.
Thanks, and I'm glad I could help.

I'm not sure if that's a virus or not.
Well, now whenever I log off of my desktop, there's a page that says "Hey, Dead Jim! Even Chrome ran out of Memory!..."
And it only lasts for like one second, and then I log off. But I have NO IDEA what that is supposed to be.
And there's also a little picture at the top that looks like a piece of paper with a folded corner that has swirly eyes and a tongue sticking out.

But our computer has Norton also, and so I'm not sure if that's a virus or not.

Be Extra careful when downloading! My brother got Spyware from downloading a game. Just keep a look out of what you're downloading, listen to your protector, and make sure if you're downloading a game, make sure that it is from the company webpage. Say you're downloading Minecraft, you would positively need to download it from Minecraft.net. There are tons of websites that have a download with a virus, and some of them have reviews from fake people, all saying it's 5 stars. Same goes for files, and everything else you could think of. Just a reminder :P Sorry I'm posting so much on this one topic. I'm just trying to help!

Did your virus pop up on your screen while on your desktop, or was it moving about on a web page?

I think you should download what you trust and remember to scan your computer so it will take away any tracking cookies or viruses

Also once this scary thing popped up once on my screen:
So once I was in the middle of doing something, and then all of the sudden this little camera on the computer came up and said: You are getting watched by the federal whatever you call it for ILLEGAL DOWNLOAD. And the last thing I remember downloading something was NEVER. And then fifteen minutes later, it went away and then my computer said: You have downloaded a virus that may be harmful...
But also my dad has installed a bunch of safety programs, so I'm not sure if HE was the one to download something.
And about a year later, my dad got the EXACT same thing.

And I'm sorry if this was to long or off topic.

It just says you have too much memory on your computer. It is either you have too much things on your computer at once or it has overheated a bit.

Virus. AVG whatever thats called caught that. When that pops up and you have that security system downloaded DELETE THE THING YOU DOWNLOADED THAT HAS THE VIRUS IMMEDIATLY! Or your computer will get messed up.

I really think at this point there is nothing you can really do, except tell your parents.
It may be a little frustrating, but they are the ones that will be able to fix it.
I saw this little ad that said:
"Your PC performance is poor."
But I ignored it, and my PC performance is normal.
So, I guess the one thing to do is, tell your parents...
I hope you get this sorted out,
Thanks,

~GirlyGirly :)

All you guys, THINK, this is AVG, and I have proof it is official AVG version 23 - 24 s. His virus detector is 24 s (newer), and this example one is 23 s. Take a look and see how real this virus actually is!!

You may want to alert your parents before anything bad or inap happens!

It's most likely the advertisement which is causing it. I suggest you to get an adblocker. It permanently removes every ad you EVER see.
