Hello, I have made a post explaining the history of all or most of what has happened in the DSGHQ since the start, Enjoy.

The Forums-
The DSGHQ Forums was created on August 30th 2013 by Damen Spike. The Forums started out as a Forums for the Oldcp community and the name was called the Oldcp Community Forums. At that time there were not as many users on and there was no such thing as albums, news feed, channels, or memes. Pretty much the only thing you could do was make posts and reply to them and edit your profile. The first addition that came to the DSGHQ Forums was Channels where you could basically make your own mini website type of thing for other users to subscribe to and get regular feedback from. Later on Albums were added where you could take pictures from the internet and put them in to a bundle for people to look at and like. After that addition the News Feed was added later, as well. This showed what was happening when and where. Nearly at the same time the memes were made to where you could choose a picture from either what was provided or from the internet and add words above and below the picture descirbing what is happening. Many new discussion categories were added as well, including Wisdom. News Reporter was added and Master. Since the beginning over 30,000 discussions have been made and over 230,000 posts have been made and over 10,000 users have joined. Another thing that was added was the Bank for currency that could be used to buy name glow, name color,.etc.

Oldcp-
Oldcp was created by Tent (Damen) in 2011 using the same template as the 2005 version of Club Penguin but there were not many features like there are today such as Knights, Mod Comps, Moderators, Admins, Ice Ghosts, Black Hawks and Bandits. Damen used SmartFoxServer to make Oldcp but after version 1 he strayed away from SFS for faster and more reliable game play. Then for the rest of Oldcp's running time (v4-v10) he had used his own programming skills using Node.js, PHP and ActionScript. During this time he uses the 2006-2007 version of Club Penguin as the template. The in late 2013 due to so many users knowing about Oldcp, Disney threatened to sue Damen and shut down Oldcp but then he gave the proper credit to Disney in v10 making Oldcp easier to maintain. When oldcp started commands started with a ! rather than a /.

Snaildom-
When Snaildom started there were few commands and there was no soccer, either. Snaildom is basically the upgraded version of Damens older game, Snailschat. The game started development by Damen on February, 5th 2014. At first the game was only able to support log in and there was no chatting, yet. The game had taken over twice as long as Snailschat, the game took about half a year to make. Beta lasted for nearly a week and the Beta Testers were rewarded a Rainbow Shell and Forums Badge for there hard work of finding bugs. When Snaildom started, construction was still under way to make the game play better for all users. Even Damen. The cinema was also made around this time. Only one crime has happened with a user named Silorn was hurting civilians for no reason. Snaildrop was also added around this time, Snaildrop was also in Snailschat.

Snailschat-
In Snailschat there were hidden badges you could find and buy powers such as name glow to make your snail more approachable, including private messaging. Snailschat had many more bugs than Snaildom and Beta lasted much longer, content was hard to add to the game and it took Damen many unneeded hours of work just to add soe furniture or items. During Snailschat's run there were only 12 users that were active and did there job or played.

Snail Drop (App)
Snaildrops development started very shortly after Snaildoms development, in fact it started 12 days after Snaildom. Snaildrop was put on the App Store for ios just a month after development began. Snaildrop was basically a snail that would sky dive and collect coins and when you got close to the ground the parachute would release or you would be killed upon impact. Snaildrop went through one updates including birds that flew across the screen.

Penguin Isles-
There is not much history recorded in Penguin Isles due to not much player activity which is due to awful lag and having only one mod comp which ended in an awful disaster. In Penguin Isles you could go to different Islands including a Black Hawk Lair. There were also guns in this game for Knights.

Hello, this is my first post in my Blue News Series, this will all be explained in short summarizes of what happened, enjoy.

As many people have been getting promotions of some sort, Bp28 has once again turned the tides in his career by gaining Forums Moderator, this action took place today at 10 A.M.

Dancebear has achieved the well sought out position of Master and will look forward to retaining the title for months to come.

The Game of Mods has come to an end and the team that won was Freehawks and the person who won the independent award was Dancebear.

A pair of rookies have gained Member in a short margin of time, these to new members are known as MetalicAngel43 and McKinlee.

And quite possibly one of the biggest things to happen over the course of this fine year was Tennis regaining his position as Admin after losing it early on in the year.

Sadie had her name changed on Oldcp to Sarabareille which was her original name from earlier on in her career.

Sparklz is once again player of the day by facing all odds and coming off of a good day to get this prize of Player of the Day.

Today there are 9 birthdays, iTom, LukeIsThaieNotMe, Olaf, Miller, kelinitbro, Xwatersplash, WhiteNnerdy, Watersplash1229, CPyoshi72365.

Hello, this is my second post in the "History Book" series, this one being after "About Bailey" which I will post a link at the bottom of this post, enjoy.

The Forums-
Lylance joined the forums on March, 29th 2014. Lylance has 13 badges that he has received over his time at the Forums, one of those many badges is the "Writer Badge" which is wielded by few on the Forums but is still a very underrated badge for reasons unknown. Hearing a few penguins talking on Oldcp he found out about the Forums and joined and since then has been racking up reputation and posts. Lylance has not yet been able to be achieve any staff ranks but he has retained the position of Master for quite some time. In this community he is in a group known as the "Da Crew" where he is prince and his wife, Aggie, is Princess, his current teammates are CocaCola10, Bobby, Zack, Crowflying, Jesse, Dreams91, Freddy, Afvw6 and Aggie. House Hunters is where Lylance currently subsides, House Hunters did not however compete in this Mod Comp. Lylance has 1,170 posts as I speak, 2008 views, 964 gold, and a 3 star rating.

Old CP-
Lylance came to Oldcp in December of 2013, he had said that after Christmas many more users compiled into Oldcp, Lylance witnessed two wars in his time on Oldcp. The first war was with the Blackhawks at there very peak of power but the forces of the DSGHQ could not be brought down. The second war was the war of Damens Day with the Ice Ghosts where he had witnessed much fighting and destruction but in the end the DSGHQ had compiled yet another win. His friend of choice in the community was CocaCola10 or Melanie. Not much more has been recorded about Lylance's History in Old CP.

Snaildom-
Lylance has joined Snaildom on the first day that it was out to the public. In his own words Lylance has said that he was suspicious about Blackhawk and Ice Ghost activity. Snaildom was a game that very little enemy activity happened and Lylance hadn't worried anymore as he began to notice the less populated area of Snaildom he drifted to Oldcp more often.

Penguin Isles-
Lylance had played Penguin Isles only a couple times before its unexpected shut down, In favor of Snaildom

Snailschat-
Same with Snailschat, Lylance had played this game only a few times before its shut down in favor of Oldcp.

Other-
Lylance is blonde and has stated that his friends tell him he has luck called a "Blonde Bubble". He has a brother and sister, as well. Lylance currently subsides in Ontario. He was also killed on December 14th 2014 but was soon after healed by Glarthir. His gender is obviously male and his other name of choice is Austin.

This is my first post in my new series called "History Report" the first user who I will be discussing is Bailey. I will post this into different sections from different games he has played over the past year.

Forums
Bailey is currently a Moderator on the Forums who protects other users and changes posts when required. He currently wields 4,288 reputation which will post likely change today or tomorrow. Bailey also wields 23 badges, one of a handful of users who has over 20 badges. He is also one of very few people to have the World Champion Badge. Another badge that he has earned that few players have is the Badge of Honour, which is gained by Damen honoring you himself. He is also a News Reporter which is currently under control by few users. He currently has three applications that he has made for a certain position on a certai game which have all been achieved and can be seen on his About Me. He currently has 823 gold, 2852 posts, a four star rating and he joined the largely populated House Freehawks. He is currently married to Little who is also a Moderator. He was also the 145th user to join.

Oldcp
Just like the DSGHQ Forums, Bailey is also a well respected moderator in Oldcp. Bailey had joined Oldcp under the identity of Bailey2000 in Oldcp v5, then in Oldcp v6 he changed his identity to HipHop and during this time he had created a team called the Fireworks which was eliminated later in the competition and he joined the famous Freehawk team which he still subsides today. Two major events that happened to Bailey then was that he was falsely accused for destroying the Dance Club with Bane and he was a PSA Agent which currently does not exist anymore. Later he changed his name once again to Chucker321 which in this alias he earned moderator but was soon demoted. He did however earn moderator again by winning the Mod Comp with the Freehawks but the same results happened with him being demoted a month later.

Snaildom
In Snaildom, Bailey was one of few people who was a Beta Tester and tested for bugs to make sure the public got the full experience of the game. Bailey then earned Banker by Cheep and was soon a Guardian Knight to protect Snaildom from Blackhawks, Ice Ghosts and Badits. He was in the Game of Mods as well with the now famous Le' Vikings but went on to the Crime Solvers to become a finalist. Very shortly after Bailey earned Moderator and was now one of the few users to be moderator on Snaildom, Oldcp and the Forums. But from there he went on to become the world champion by scoring over 40 goals in the Autumn Soccer Tournament.

Penguin Isles
I could not find much information on this topic but I found out that he attended the Game of Mods which ended up failing in the long term for Damen.

Other
Not much is known about Bailey except that he subsides in Massachusetts, US. His gender, of course, is male. Bailey discovered the DSGHQ by typing in Old CP on Youtube and finding a link through the video. He is in a group called the "Mod Squad" where he has teammates known as Bp28, Hashir, Sofie, Cheep and Angie. It is known that Bailey plays trumpet and takes Hip-Hop classes as well as playing Soccer. He enjoys Meteorology and Gaming.

I have interviewed a pair of people that were in the Top Users of the DSGHQ 2014 post. In this post I asked them a series of questions about there past, present and future.

Participants- Polarmanax Bp28

The first interview is with Bp28. His writing will be in red whilst mine will be in green.

1. What were your intentions upon joining the Community?
1. To have a lot of fun. I didn't really know about moderators and the other ranks, but when I found out about them, it intrigued me.

2. Did you ever expect you would come this far in the community? 2. No not at all. I was kind of a trouble maker. I never thought I would achieve any ranks.

3. What are your intentions for your future? 3. For the DSGHQ, I'm trying to earn forums moderator and just continuing to help users in any way I can. For my real life outside of the DSGHQ, I'm entering high school next year, so I'm about to begin training for sports.

1. What was your intention when you first joined the community? To become moderator, but that soon faded.

2. Did you ever think you would achieve what you have today? Well, I always had hope that I would, so yes!

After another turbulent year in the DSGHQ we bring this years Top Ten Users of 2014. These users impacted the forums and oldcp greatly over the course of this year and have changed our perspective on the DSGHQ.

And with out further a do I bring you the Top Ten Users of 2014

Tennis- Through thick and thin Tennis showed that he could over come anything and defeat any evil that has threatened the DSGHQ. After his short lived Admin run earlier in the year Tennis has once again pulled through and showed us what an exceptional player he can be by once again earning the great role of Admin. Even earning the rank of Royal Executioner only wielded by a few he earned the highly respected rank. He has also made Snaildom and even more exceptional place by being one of the few Beta Testers that made the game better and helped revolutionize Snaildom. He has also wielded Moderator for one of the longest reigns in DSGHQ history but has surpassed that rank and moved all the way up to Administrator. Yet another great and unforgettable achievement was defeating the Ice Lord Commander Uzu is a hard fought battle and continued the legacy of Oldcp. Even after being obliterated by the hands of Raegon, Tennis did not let that bother him as he sought after great heights to become what he is today. So this is why Tennis has received the honor of being the 2014 User of the Year. Congratulations, Tennis.

Bp28- Some of you will probably wonder why I have put Bp28 at #2 but you should probably look at all of what he has accomplished this past year. He has organized the Freehawks in to a once again winning team and they are cruising past opponents this mod comps and he hasn't stopped there. He has achieved the rank of Imperial Knight which few wield among the community but oh no that's not all. He rose above all of the other knights and became the captain of the Knights and has shown that he can protect this community with great passion. And once again that's not all, he continued to amaze by going all the way up to moderator by gaining the trust of Damen and others and has also shown he can moderate with great passion. Earlier on he got News Reporter which may seem like a small achievement but in all reality is very large and he should be respected for reaching such heights. He has shown that he has great grammar and maturity by being said News Reporter. And along with Tennis he was one of the few Beta Testers to help make Snaildom bug free for all users to enjoy so he has earned some praise and on a similar note he has also become a great Blogger for the official website which is seldom used anymore. He also did something that Tennis could not by defeating the mighty Raegon and ending his evil reign over Oldcp. And recently he has become a Wiki Editor.

May23Monthly- After a long awaited return to the DSGHQ May had earned mod within a short time space and showed that she was worth being promoted by being active and following the rules in precise order. She has a very fun side as well and does very good with the younger people of this community. She has shown her great loyalty in being a Freehawk and always being a team player. Although she has very few achievements to show she has made it so high on this list due to her great activity and great help in this community. She will continue to amaze throughout her journey without a doubt and will continue rising atop the rest,

Most Consistent Players of 2014

Tennis- Once again Tennis has taken in the top spot for most consistent user of 2014. In this year Tennis has retained his title of Moderator for one of the longest periods of time, even outshining the great Sadie in this category. Not only has he done this with moderator but he has also earned Admin to go along with his great collection of achievements. He was also a very consistent player in the Royal Executioner category by retaining the title for a long time.

Sadie- Sadie has always been a consistent player and most likely would have been atop the list in 2013. But for 2014 she was ranked second to Tennis by just a whisker. She, along with Tennis has held the moderator rank for quite some time now and it is almost funny how she has not been rewarded with moderator as said by some users. Very few users can stay so positive about things, even in the bleakest of situations. She has also retained Banker and Detective for some time which also gave her a bit of a bump on this list.

Little- Just like both Tennis and Sadie, Little has retained the title of Moderator for a long time. She has shown that she can be consistent at the moderator helm and will most likely stay that way.

Biggest Rise in the DSGHQ of 2014

Polarmanax- Yes, the one and only Polarmanax is atop this list after gaining a huge amount of popularity through out the community and Oldcp. She has been recognized as one of the most creative and fun loving players in the DSGHQ and we hope for it to stay that way as she seems to be one of the most loyal of friends in this community.

Lylance- Yes, another user who has excelled in gaining popularity and reputation points. He is a very recognized player and has the material to be the next great moderator of Oldcp. He is second on this list because he is one of the few users who has over a thousand reputation in 10 months.

LivetoDance- Just like Lylance, Live has had an outstanding year with all of her accomplishments and she has neared the 1000 reputation mark in a little over 6 months so she has shown that she is very productive at posting on the Forums.

Biggest Falls of 2014

PenguinDSC- PenguinDSC has shown us that he can be a great leader and administrator but lately has not been able to show up online due to real life issues which has resulted in his demotion of Administrator.

Sheep- Sheep has had a touch and go year in 2014 as he came out of 2013 with great confidence but that seemed to all fall apart as he started to drift away from the community and at one point he cussed on the forums which resulted in a permanent ban. Many users had come to enjoy the antics of Sheep but that seemed to fade away.

CPManiac- Much like his brother, PenguinDSC, he lost his position as moderator late in the year due to inactivity of real life issues.
