Hi!

I do in fact provide Imperial Knight training. Due to my moderation job, I am usually busy. I do enjoy doing Knight training. As the future gets closer, it will be less stressful and I will be able to be on track and train. (:

~ CoffeeCow

On track? As in running? Like a running track? Or paw print tracks?

Ah! Track as in focusing on other stuff that I need to concentrate. (:

Since I've earned the badge, I know about how to get it. All you need to do is creating application and explain yourself why you wish to become a, "Wiki Editor." It's like a rank.

Thanks. Could you link me your application (so I can look at it, I won't copy)

How did you get that picture of the badge there?

I went to someone's profile and copied the badge to the link.

Just move the picture to a new tab and copy the link.

How do I move the picture to a new tab?

First, open a new tab. Second, click and hold to the picture. While still holding the mouse button, transfer the photo to the new tab.

I don't have a mouse right now, it's getting batteries.. what do I do?

Are you using a trackpad?

I understand what you're trying to say. I do agree with your point. Since I just started school, I'm not going to be on on weekdays. I will try my best to attend during the nights, like I used to do. :)

Posted in First Day of High School! • 12th August 2015, 11:15 PM

Greetings Users of the DSGHQ Community

You have noticed something different. Indeed, I'm on a different account due to a sacrifice. Don't worry, I'm not an imposter. :P

In this post, I would like to share my story of how my first day of High School was.

The Day Before...

"Gah!" That was me worrying about the first day. I was mostly nervous because I thought that I wouldn't meet a lot of new friends. In real life, I'm not the social type person. Indeed, I do have some friends in real life, but I wanted to meet new ones too. You know in those High School movies where the Seniors beat the Freshmen? Yup... I was worried about that.

For the whole day yesterday, I went shopping for back-to-school items. I bought:

~ Two Dresses
~ Mechanical Pencils
~ Red Pens
~ Teal Pencil Plastic Case
~ Erasers
~ Led (for pencils)
~ Binder Paper
~ Pig Slippers
~ Blue Hoodie (my dream to always get this...)

This was my favorite part of going back to school because getting new stuff is cool, right? Wow, I sounded cheesy...

For the whole night, I couldn't sleep due to worrying and over-thinking. I understand that Middle School and High School is similar, but I felt nervous because it's a bigger campus where you get to meet a lot of new people. Luckily, I got a few tips from my friends which helped me calm and relax. Thank you to those who gave me advice. (:

The First Day

I was sleeping like an angel until...

"WAKE UP!!!" My mother yelled...

I woke up and looked at my phone to check the time. Sweet! I have tons of time to dress-up and pack for school.

I decided to wear my black and white squared dress with my white Converse shoes. I walked to the bathroom and straighten my hair. After that, I tried out make-up and wore mascara and natural lipstick. I'm on fireee. Furthermore, I went to my room and packed all my school supplies. Lastily, I skipped down the stairs and went to the Kitchen to drink hot chocolate.

Before I continue with the story, I'll tell you my schedule.

Schedule

0: None
1: Algebra 1
2: World History / Culture (A.K.A: Social Science)
T: Tutoring (45 minutes to talk to your teacher if you need help)
3: Biology 1
4: English 1
5: PE Course 1
6: French 1
7: AM Justice System (extra class)

For High School, you might have a thing called, "Block Schedule." This means that some days, you go to this class while on other days, you go to another class. This means that you don't go to all of your classes for one day. I love this idea because I believe it gives you less stress and more time to concentrate on other subjects. I'll give you an example of what I mean.

Monday: All Periods + Early Day Out
Tuesday / Thursday: Periods: 1, 3, 5, & 7 + Full Day
Wednesday / Friday: Periods: 0, 2, 4, & 6 + Full Day

I just want to make clear that for full days, your classes are two hours. Yes, you get to sit inside an educational room for two hours straight. Of course, rules might change for some schools. I'm giving this as my school perspective.

Basically, all of my teachers handed out a Syllabus which provided details on what we will learn throughout the year. Of course, the teachers introduced themselves and gave warm welcoming to us, Freshmen. I felt more comfortable each time I went to each class. In each class, I sat in the front because I felt that I wanted to engage with every class.

Here's the thing, High School is not like a movie. It's WAY different. At least in my school, students of all grades were respectful and caring. I felt so comfortable with the campus within the first few classes. Walking down the hallways wasn't much of a struggle. Luckily, there wasn't fighting or bullying around the place. The teachers I had were pretty chill and cool about everything that was run in the classroom.

During the day, I met two new friends and saw my other friends from Middle School. It was quite a lovely day because I missed spending time with them during the summer. It was a great day to come back and make people smile.

Even though I didn't get the same classes with my close friends, I still had a fun time. I believe that High School will be so much better than Middle School. More friends, studies, activities, etc... Everything went well as it was planned.

Here's some of the tips that has helped me along the day.

Tips

~ Do your studies
~ Get good grades for the future
~ Avoid dating until you're comfortable and ready
~ Be with friends who you trust
~ Talk to teachers if you ever have a problem with an assignment or anything else
~ Do not let a person control you. You're NOT a machine
~ Be organized and on track
~ Follow the rules
~ Participate in activities
~ Make a club, if there isn't one that you're interested in
~ Do not be afraid to be you. :)

All these tips were given to my friends from the community. Thank you (:

If you're starting High School, it's okay to be nervous. The first day will be such a rush, you won't even notice. Don't listen to people who thinks High School is horrible... Trust me, it's great. (:

Hope you liked the story and the tips. Thanks for reading!
