Hello everyone! I will be showing you around the forums! So this might work for you but this will mainly work for new users because they need help! So first off, well I will explain what THIS is that I am posting right now.



To create a discussion (like mine) go to the community index. Once you are there you should see some words on your left that say Create A Discussion. Click on that. Then you can name your post and tell other penguins about stuff that will be in your post. Also you should try your best to name it under the right category.



To make sure to have a good post, make sure it is meaningful. Do not create random posted not relevant to what you are posting about. Also make your post three words or more. If you don't, that is spamming. Spamming is also when you extend your words and make a bunch more posts right after another to count as more posts to get credits. The rule is to not double or triple post.



Depending in the rank you are, you might receive credits or not. The ranks are:



Banned

Rookie

Member

News Reporter

Master

Moderator

Administrator



If you are a Rookie or lower you will not get credits for every 50 posts. When you are a Member, you can. News Reporter is a job. You must have the job to have the rank. Master is the rank after News Reporter and before Moderator.



To see your rank, go to the top right corner and press on profile. There it should say Rank:.



To mail someone, go to the top right corner and press the mail. Then type in the users username and send the message of whatever you want it to be about to them.



To see what people replied to your posts, go to the lightbulb near the profile. It should say everything there.



In the profile, you can change your profile picture by getting a valid URL. Paste it In a box that asks for it. Then click save and it should be there.



Also in edit my profile (which is found in the left corner when you click on your profile) you can change your name if you like. You also can say which is your penguin on Oldcp.



You can also use signatures. I don't know how to make these, others made them for me. But you can type in things about you on Oldcp. Like I put some of my jobs.
