When Snaildom opened to the public, the Golden Era began. The game was still being updated and going under improvements, but the game was full of life. Civilian jobs were introduced, giving users the chance to be a part of the Snaildom experience.

Events

Four major events have taken place on Snaildom during the early Golden Era. Series 9 of the Game of Mods was held on Snaildom, as well as a Damenball style WCI. Two new events were featured too, a Game of Kings, to determine who would become the King and Queen Regent of Snaildom, and the Emperors Apprentice Competition, to determine which lucky user would be granted the opportunity to learn Damen's skills.

King Regent Cyberwolf

After ten hard and demanding stages of the Game of Kings, Cyberwolf and Cheep were crowned King and Queen Regents of Snaildom to serve under Emperor Damen, who stepped down as King. King Cyberwolf, then elected Tennis as his and the first King Helper of Snaildom.

Improvements

Overtime new features were added to Snaildom, including Damenball, the Cinema, Snaildrop and new Mazes/Quests. Every month new items are featured in the Style Store and Furniture Shop.

Crime

Very little crime has appeared on Snaildom so far. There has only been one incident so far, a ghost named Silorn was attacking users and making them fall unconscious. The matter was resolved quickly and all those harmed were revived.

The library features original stories written by DSGHQ users. Stories are submitted in a forum post, if chosen the author is awarded with the Snaildom Author badge. Books can be bought for 5 coins or more, the price depends on the stories length and quality. New stories are chosen at random. The stories are from all different genres and styles.

Cinema

The Cinema is a room where TV can be live-streamed and watched on Snaildom. It can be accessed through the Throne Room. Showings are random, and have no set time length as they must be done manually. The Cinema was launched around two months after the Golden Era began.

Snowfalls was the evil Ice Queen with a cold heart. She was a well known enemy on OldCP, frightening many who saw her around the island.

Introduction

Snowfalls is the Queen of the Kingdom of Ice. She rules her kingdom alongside Raegon, the Ice King. Snowfalls has made many appearances on OldCP, making her one of the most important enemies in the game. One of Snowfalls' biggest appearances was on DamensDay in 2014, where she famously died in battle.

The Ice Queen was known for her freezing ability. When a user has been touched by Snowfalls, they are immediately frozen.

Summer of 2014

In July, Snowfalls famously kidnapped Bp28 and Cheep, two of the moderators of OldCP. Bp28 was locked up at her palace and Cheep was kept at the void. Bp28 was released within minutes. Both were turned into Ice Ghosts but were later turned back into their normal selves, and Cheep was eventually saved.

War of the Summer

In August, Snowfalls made another appearance, this time warning penguins that Blizzard will be taken over by her army of Ice Ghosts. Rover was also reportedly seen at the scene.

Snowfalls later returned with an army of Ice Ghosts, along with The Hound, Clarkson, and Raegon. This event was called the War of the Summer, with many penguins falling to their deaths as they fought for the empire.

Damen the Emperor ended the battle by shooting Snowfalls, although this was later understood to have been inadequate to kill the foe. Dancebear who was the Legendary Healer at the time healed the innocent penguins who had fallen. This would not be Snowfalls' last war.

War of DamensDay

Surprisingly to all penguins on the island, Snowfalls made a return. Back from the dead, the Ice Queen attacked the island along with other Ice Lords like Raegon and Uzu. Snowfalls was later killed by Sir Gamer the Great, marking her final death.

Death

On December 14th, 2014, Snowfalls was involved in the bloody War of DamensDay. She along with Raegon, Uzu, and the Ice Ghosts were going around the island freezing innocent penguins with her abilities.

Sir Gamer the Great later battled Snowfalls during the war, and slayed her on the Ski Hill of OldCP. Sir Gamer the Great is now known as the Ice Queen Slayer, and Snowfalls was never seen on the island ever again.

Early Life

Sofie was born in Liverpool, UK. She moved to the United States when she was 2.

Before the DSGHQ

Before Sofie joined the DSGHQ, she was bullied by people at her school for liking Club Penguin. One day, her friend told her that she went on a chat called xat, they both decided to check it out. She found people on this chat that actually understood her problems.

She met a person named Fizz, they quickly became friends and she started to be happy once again. She was later introduced to the game of OldCP in late September of 2012 (v2).

That is just the beginning of her story.

Joining OldCP

OldCP v2, v3, v4

Her first username on OldCP was of course IceeSofie, she had been suggested to have that name from her younger sister. When she logged in for the first time she was greeted by a moderator named Sting, they became friends quickly. Another person she met was another moderator named Drew, who thought her the basic moderator commands. It took a long time for IceeSofie to be well known, most of the time she would sit alone or try to talk to someone, that's when she befriended another user named Brndav.

V5

Not much can be remembered during this period of time for IceeSofie, but one thing that will always be remembered is when she changed her name to Sofie and kept IceeSofie as a back up account.

V6 & V7

Sofie believed she was ready for administrator, she made a application on forums. Damen saw it and liked it. About a week later, she noticed something rather strange, she looked at the staff list below OldCP and found both of her accounts 'Sofie' and 'Iceesofie' on the list, she did not know why this happened. She logged onto her account 'Iceesofie' and found out she was a administrator. People asked her for her account 'Sofie' but she refused to give it to anyone. She later gave up the position because she believed that someone else could do a better job than her. She then switched back to 'Iceesofie' and her backup is now 'Sofie'.

V8, V9, & V10

This was when IceeSofie was princess, she got the rank in a unexpected way, and then later gained the title Queen. During V9 she wanted to be different, so she was claimed the craziest moderator and was loved by the people. When OldCP shut down, she was suprised, she was sad after that, she didn't want OldCP to go. During V10, Sofie played a minor role in in Operation Endgame, she was the commander of Team Gamma. After that she started to see that she sucked at roleplay.

Reputation

With the help from her two friends Brndav and Fizz, she met many people including Damen Spike, Chelsey, Techno, Ghost, etc. It took a long time for someone to listen to her, but she never gave up. She started talking to other users, and then everyone recognized the name of IceeSofie. Soon after that she met Damen Spike himself, they started to have a friendship, and then she got moderator for the first time in v4. From there, Sofie got to meet even more people. She loved moderating, for many reasons, but she also got demoted many times. She truly never gave up, her friends supported her through all of it.

Becoming an Administrator

All though her position for administrator did not last long, Sofie was confident and happy that she had administrator, but she told herself that it is a lot of responsibility being a admin. Her second time being a administrator only lasted a week, on the last day, she was tricked by a user to give change a password, she was too kind to users and users took advantage of it. She felt bad for her actions, and she made a goal to herself that she would return to OldCP.

Becoming Queen

At this time, Chelsey was Queen and IceeSofie was one of the 3 princesses, later some conflict happened between Damen and Chelsey and she was banished for her actions. Later on June 8th 2014, Damen made a short discussion on forums stating that Chelsey was demoted and IceeSofie is the next person in line for the title for Queen. She was very excited, but also nervous, she did not want to make a mistake like she did when she was an administrator. Deep down inside, she knew she was ready for the next step and would do everything in her power to get what she needed, confidence. On June 14th 2014, Cyberwolf gave her the title of Queen, and since then she has been doing what she does best, moderating.

Grand Most Wise Jacobg entered OldCP on a cold morning. The Library was cold and few were there. Jacobg walked in with a great large book. Many old bearded penguins started at Jacobg.

184 years later, Jacobg had grown a beard much longer than any of the other Wise Ones.

Damen Spike

He went to Damen and professed Wisdom, so wise, that it is said that "only the ears of the Emperor can understand it's Wisdom". His book was then known as "Book De Wri De Wis d' O Magicka". It is so long, it is said to contain up to two billion pages of wisdom.

Since then, the Grand Most Wise One, Jacobg627 is the Most Wise person ever.

What can I contribute?

Regular Rookies cannot Edit or create articles until they have gained the rank of member by reaching 100 positive reputation points.

Beyond that requirement, Members can edit any unprotected articles. Articles created by Moderators or Members can be edited by staff, even if the article is protected, the same applies for Wiki Editors.

Members with at least 500 reputation points can create articles. All articles are moderated by forum staff and edited to fit the grammatical requirements of the DSGHQ Wiki.

The Beginning of it All

On the 25th of May, 2014, a user by the name of Cheep brought the Bank idea publicly to the DSGHQ. This lead to the actual official DSGHQ Bank, located on every DSGHQ game of 2014.

The Opening

After much anxiousness around the community for the release of the Imperial Bank it was finally opened in early June 2014.

System

The system of the DSGHQ Bank/Imperial Bank is just like ordinary banks around the world. Simply create an account on the DSGHQ Forums and deposit gold in the account selected. As the gold coins stay in the bank account the interest rate rises and the gold coins kept in the account will now gain more gold coins over a certain amount of time. This results in the player gaining more coins to use freely on the DSGHQ Forums' add on store or even depositing them into the user's Snaildom accounts and OldCP accounts. Furthermore, to take out deposited gold coins from a DSGHQ Bank account withdraw as much coins as the bank account holds. No body else can access another user's account unless the user turns off privacy, making it possible for other users to acces their gold. This results in users being able to log into that account if given the password from the account's owner. Also, loans, which are payments given out to users if needed but must be paid off within a certain amount of time. Loans are only available to users who have a working job on the DSGHQ. If a loan is not paid off within a month, or at least without and explanation, a user could face banishment or punishments provided by Damen himself.

Bank Rules

The bank rules are clearly stated and were given by the creator of the DSGHQ. All bankers of the Imperial Bank must follow these rules or they will be demoted/warned.

Bankers

Bankers of the Imperial Bank play a crucial role of the bank itself. So, in order for bankers to do so they must reach the specific criteria. This criteria consists of: Clean history on the DSGHQ, average grammar, good behavior, at least member on the DSGHQ Forums, user of the community for at least 4 months. Bankers must be willing to work, otherwise they'll be demoted very quickly. Bankers also must stay in uniform while assisting customers of the Imperial Bank.
