I might know who stole the painting, Gwin!
Everyone believes he is dead, he is not. I saw the real Gwin online. The reason why he took it is because Gwin lost his puffle, probably. Since he always wants valuable stuff, He might of has Rockhopper's puffle! All he wanted was a memory of his puffle. It would be sad to loose a pet, not be a crime and steal a valuable painting.

Solved: A WALL CRIME... MY theory is that with the blackhawks gang have had rover (id=322031230) give instructions to MiMe(id=322065751) to steal the painting but at the same time take a picture of a purple penguin and replace it with one of a orange one. the paintings then were taken to the mine a place where no one could get into without a channel type in. it was hidden inside the minecart tunnel. there could be clues in the tunnel that lead to the 30th. I worked with hasher on this.

The robber most no have gotten far since it is such a high price painting and I bet that it is still somewhere in the lighthouse or around it.They must be waiting for a chance to sneak it out in a crate or something.
Here is a pic of what I think might be the picture just outside the lighthouse. It may have also just have been Rookie admiring Rockhopper's picture and he wanted to get a closer look and accidentally forgot to put it back.
