Yep, when you're in some kind of formal argument/debate, insulting your opponent only makes a fool of yourself.

This reminds me of a user on the other website I moderate. He's only 14 and very mature. I think he's having some struggles in the real world, which causes him to snap easily online. Often he'll cuss just about everyone off which will result in him being banned. Then he'll start threatening to commit suicide, and he gets unbanned. It seemed unfair to me that someone who MAY be suicidal gets so much slack for cussing out everyone, but human life is pretty important. I'm conflicted on this.

This is true. They probably didn't think this through when they were first drafting the basics of the show. At this point, I don't really care xP

Hello, I'm new this this specific CP community, but I've been involved in other CP communities.

Looks like this application has no questions, and is pretty much a free-for-all, so I'll just jump right into it.

Here are some of my skills that may or not help myself as a moderator:
-I'm smart. I am a junior in high school and take multiple AP/honors courses (I've scored a 32 on the ACT if that helps you in anyway).
-I have moderator experience (will elaborate below).
-I'm good with dealing with people. I've done it in real life, online, and on my moderator job.
-I'm a decent video editor (no idea if you're interested in this).
-I'm an old CP player (first played when I was 6 or 7 probably).
-I have perfect English.
-I don't hesitate to ask questions. I feel that this is vital to become comfortable in a new staff position.
-I am a good leader.
-I am mature.
-I moderate forums on another site. I know how they work.

I'd like to become a moderator here because it looks like a small and tight community. I've been hopping around different CP communities for awhile now and would like to move from an active user to a moderator.
